Han blev f\u00f8dt omkring \u00e5r 1360, og man mener, at han boede i en periode i Byzans, hvor han l\u00e6rte ikonkunsten af den ber\u00f8mte maler Theophanes den Gr\u00e6ske. Han askesede i &quot;Barmhjertige Frelser&quot;-klosteret i Moskva, og han tilbragte ogs\u00e5 en periode af sit klosterliv i Trinity Lavra-klosteret. Han malede mange ikoner og kirkev\u00e6gmalerier, der er ber\u00f8mte for deres pragt den dag i dag. Vores helgen faldt i s\u00f8vn i \u00e5r 1427 efter et liv, han tilbragte med at elske Gud og fremh\u00e6ve sk\u00f8nheden i hans v\u00e6rker gennem sit kunstneriske talent. Den hellige synode i det russiske patriarkat kanoniserede Andrei Rublev i 1988 i anledning af det f\u00f8rste \u00e5rtusinde af russernes d\u00e5b. Imidlertid var han begyndt at blive \u00e6ret som en helgen siden det sekstende \u00e5rhundrede i Lavra-klosteret.<\/p>\n<p>  <!--more-->  <\/p>\n<p>Der er ingen tvivl om, at det mest ber\u00f8mte ikon malet af Andrei Rublev er &quot;Ikonet for den hellige treenighed.&quot; Dette ikon, der er bevaret i Tretyakov-galleriet i Moskva, er unikt ved, at det er det eneste kirkeligt accepterede ikon for den hellige treenighed*. Rublev tog en h\u00e6ndelse, der fandt sted i Det Gamle Testamente, nemlig de tre engles bes\u00f8g hos Abraham ved egetr\u00e6erne i Mamre (1. Mosebog, kapitel 18), og gav den en ortodoks fortolkning, der opsummerer det faktum, at englene ikke er andet end en symbol p\u00e5 den hellige treenighed. F\u00f8r Rublev var der en god skik at male ikonet &quot;Abrahams g\u00e6stfrihed&quot;, hvor Abraham optr\u00e6der sammen med sin kone Sarah, der serverer tre engle, der sidder ved et bord.<\/p>\n<p>Rublevs fortolkning af Abrahams g\u00e6stfrihed som en manifestation af treenigheden falder inden for konteksten af en gammel hermeneutisk tradition. Hvad f\u00e6drene ang\u00e5r, var der mange fortolkninger af, hvem de tre engle var. Nogle af dem, som dem fra den antiokenske og syriske arv, s\u00e5 i engles tilsynekomst en tilsynekomst af Gud selv. Blandt dem var, ligesom de kappadokiske f\u00e6dre, dem, der s\u00e5 tilsynekomsten af &quot;Guds Ord&quot;, den senere inkarnerede Kristus, i dem. Blandt dem, s\u00e5som de hellige Ambrosius, biskop af Milano og Augustin, biskop af Hippo, sagde, at denne h\u00e6ndelse var en manifestation af selve den hellige treenighed, samtidig med at den understregede dens enhed. Derfor sletter Rublev Abraham og Sara fra hans ikon for at minde dem, der overvejer det, om Jesu Kristi evighed, som sagde: &quot;F\u00f8r Abraham var, er jeg&quot; (Joh 8:58).<\/p>\n<p>Andrei Rublev oprettede ikke et nyt tema til ikonet. At tegne Gud er forbudt i Kirken, og det guddommelige bud er klart: &quot;Du m\u00e5 ikke lave dig et udsk\u00e5ret billede eller lignelse...&quot; (2. Mosebog 20:4) Dog tegnede Rublev ikke Gud selv, men derimod begivenheden for englenes tilsynekomst, som Abraham og Sara s\u00e5 med deres egne \u00f8jne og gennemlevede dens begivenheder. Ortodoks teologi tager ogs\u00e5 udgangspunkt i Herren Jesu ord: &quot;Den, der har set mig, har set Faderen&quot; (Joh 14:9) for at legitimere ikonet og for at legitimere tegningen af Herren Jesus &quot;gl\u00f8den af Guds herlighed og billedet af hans v\u00e6sen og alles hersker ved hans magts ord\u00ab (Hebr\u00e6erne 1:3). S\u00e5ledes kan vi sige, at Rublev ikke risikerede at tegne selve treenigheden: Faderen, S\u00f8nnen og Hellig\u00e5nden, men snarere tegnede han en h\u00e6ndelse n\u00e6vnt i Bibelen. I stedet for at forklare h\u00e6ndelsen med ord, som alle f\u00e6dre, forklarede han den i streger og farver.<\/p>\n<p>I sit ikon udtrykker Rublev den hellige treenigheds enhed ved ligheden mellem de tre engle og ved den enkelte cirkel tegnet rundt om hovedet p\u00e5 de tre. Den f\u00f8rste engel, den venstre engel med tre fjerdedele af ansigtet tegnet, henviser til den &quot;uforst\u00e5elige&quot; far, som vi intet ved om. Derfor blev han afbildet i uklar p\u00e5kl\u00e6dning, for ikke at sige n\u00e6sten farvel\u00f8s, for at indikere den tvetydighed, der omgiver ham, men ogs\u00e5 fordi vi ikke ved noget om Faderen, undtagen hvad Herren Jesus \u00e5benbarede for os: \u201dIngen har nogensinde set Gud.&quot; Den enb\u00e5rne s\u00f8n, som er i Faderens sk\u00f8d, har gjort det kendt&quot; (Joh 1:18).<\/p>\n<p>Den anden engel, den midterste engel, som vender mod os og viser sig tydeligt for os, symboliserer den inkarnerede s\u00f8n, Jesus Kristus. Hans t\u00f8j er rent og klart, bl\u00e5t og brunt. Bl\u00e5 symboliserer himlen og guddommeligheden, mens m\u00f8rkebrun symboliserer jorden og menneskeheden. Bag ham rejser sig et tr\u00e6, dets r\u00f8dder i jorden og dets grene str\u00e6kker sig mod himlen. Dette tr\u00e6 symboliserer korsets pind, som gennem Jesus blev livets tr\u00e6 i himlen, stigen, der steg op til himlen, hvorigennem himmel og jord blev forenet, s\u00e5 gr\u00e6nserne mellem dem oph\u00f8rte med at eksistere.<\/p>\n<p>Den tredje engel, h\u00f8jres engel ogs\u00e5 afbildet med tre fjerdedele af ansigtet, symboliserer den livgivende Hellig\u00e5nd, som udvikler og skaber alle v\u00e6sener. Derfor blev han afbildet if\u00f8rt gr\u00f8nt t\u00f8j, farven og livsgl\u00e6den. Den cirkul\u00e6re glorie i ikonet er komplet og lukker ikke, da den \u00e5bner p\u00e5 den hellige kop placeret i midten af ikonet p\u00e5 bordet. Her er referencen tydelig til den guddommelige messe, det vil sige til kirken som helhed, hvor man tr\u00e6der ind i Faderens favn og bor hos ham fra denne nuv\u00e6rende tidsalder. Det himmelske rige og det evige liv begynder fra dette jordiske liv og str\u00e6kker sig til det uendelige.<\/p>\n<p>Rublev malede ikonet for den hellige treenighed, og han og andre, hvis tro blev styrket, blev helliget ved at meditere over det og bede foran det. Dette ikon l\u00f8fter dig op fra jorden for at placere dig i Guds evige n\u00e6rv\u00e6r, fordi det kun blev malet for at v\u00e6re en b\u00f8n, et kald til tro og tilbedelse. Som afslutning p\u00e5 vores udtalelse om den hellige Andrei Rublev kan vi ikke lade v\u00e6re med at slutte os til koret af sangere: &quot;Salige er de, der elsker sk\u00f8nheden i dit hus, O
