Priest: Blessed be God our God at all times, now and at all times, and forever and ever

Psalmist: Amen!

O Heavenly King, Comforter, Spirit of Truth present everywhere and everywhere. And He fills all. The treasurer of good deeds and the provider of life. Come and dwell in us, purify us from every defilement, and save our souls, O Good One.

Psalmist: Holy God, Holy Mighty, Holy Immortal, have mercy on us.(Three)

Glory be to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, now and at all times and to the ages of ages, Amen

O Holy Trinity, have mercy on us, O Lord, forgive our sins. O Lord, overlook our sins, O Holy One, come and heal our diseases, for your name’s sake, O Lord, have mercy, O Lord, have mercy, O Lord, have mercy.

Glory be to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, now and at all times and to the ages of ages, Amen

Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come. Thy will be done, as it is in heaven as it is on earth. Give us our essential bread today, and leave us what we owe as we leave to those who owe us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Priest:For yours is the kingdom, the power, and the glory, O Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, now and at all times and to the ages of ages.

Psalmist: O Lord, have mercy 12 times:

Glory be to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit

Now and at all times and forever and ever, Amen.

Come, let us prostrate and kneel. For our King and God.

Come, let us prostrate and kneel to Christ. Our King and God.

Come, let us prostrate and kneel to Christ. This is our King and our God.

The applicant recites (Psalm 142)

O Lord, listen to my prayer and give ear to my request with your truth. Answer me with your justice and do not enter into judgment with your servant, for not every living person will be pure before you. For the enemy has persecuted my soul, and has afflicted my life on earth, and has made me sit in darkness as one dead for ages, and has afflicted my spirit, and troubled my heart. I have remembered the days of old, and have marveled at all your works, and meditated on the works of your hands. I extended my hands to you and my soul to you like a land that does not rain. Hurry and answer me, O Lord, for my spirit is exhausted. Do not turn your face from me, so that I become like those falling into the pit. Make me listen to your mercy in the morning, for I have put my trust in you. Show me, O Lord, the way in which I should walk, for to you I have lifted up my soul. Save me from my enemies, O Lord, for I have taken refuge in you. Teach me. To do your will, for you are my God. Your good Spirit guides me in a right land. For the sake of your name, O Lord, you revive me. With your justice, you bring my soul out of sorrow, and with your mercy, you uproot my enemies and destroy all those who grieve my soul, because I am your servant.

Chorus: God bless.

Priest:Support, save, have mercy, and protect us, O God, with your grace.

Chorus: God bless.

Priest:After mentioning our most holy, pure, most blessed, and glorious Lady, the Mother of God, the ever-virgin Mary, with all the saints, let us entrust ourselves, one another, and all our lives to Christ God.

Chorus: To you, Lord

Priest:Because yours is the glory and yours is the kingdom, the power and the glory. O Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, now and at all times and to the ages of ages.

Glory be to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit

Now and at all times and forever and ever, Amen.

Psalm 50

We chant the following law on the fourth tune. Saying on each piece: (O Christ, have mercy on your servants).

The first valleys

O Master, who always delights human souls and bodies with the oil of compassion, and preserves the believers with the oil. You have compassion now also on those who come to you with oil.

Glory be to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit

O answerable human beings. O You who were compassionate and commanded His messengers to complete His honorable anointing on His sick servants, with their supplications, have mercy on everyone with Your divine seal.

Now and at all times and forever and ever, Amen

O pure one, you who alone attained the abyss of safety. Through your intercession to God, always save your servants from illnesses and sorrows so that they may glorify you without faltering.

The third valleys

O Christ, since You alone are wondrous and merciful to believing people. Grant those who fall into excruciating illnesses your grace from on high.

O You who made clear at some point, with His divine sign, the olive tree as a sign of the cessation of the flood. Save the sick with Your mercy, O Lord.

Glory be to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit

O Christ, since you are merciful, rejoice in the lamp of divine light. Those who rush towards you now with the anointing, believing in your mercy.

Now and at all times and forever and ever, Amen

Look from above with compassion, O Mother of the Maker of all, and remove the worst of the sick with your intercession.

The first kathasma in the eighth tune

Since you are the divine river of mercies and the depth of abundant compassion, O Compassionate One. Show the streams of your divine mercy and heal everyone. Generously overflow the springs of wonders, and encourage everyone, for to you we always hasten fervently, drawing grace.

Kathsma again in the fourth tune

O Physician, the comforter of those in pain, and the savior and savior of those in sickness. You, O Lord, Master of all, grant healing to your sick servants, and have great compassion and mercy on the fallen, and save them from their mistakes, O Christ, so that they may glorify your power.

Fourth valleys

O Savior, since you are the goodness flowing with grace, innocent of corruption, and purifier of the world, have mercy and have mercy on those who anoint the wounds of the body with your divine faith.

Sir. Now seal the senses of your servants with the joy of sealing your mercies and make the entrance to them untrodden and unapproachable by all opposing forces.

Glory be to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit

O lover of mankind, you who commanded the weak to call on His divine servants so that through their prayers and the anointing of your oil they might be saved. You are saved by your sweet mercy.

Now and at all times and forever and ever, Amen

O Mother of God, ever-virgin and all-holy. Oh, a guarding cover and a strong protection, a harbour, a wall, a ladder and a tower, have mercy on us and have mercy on us. Because it is to you alone that we seek refuge.

Fifth valleys

O Righteous One, since You are the center of mercies, have mercy on the sick, O Most Merciful, with Your divine mercy, since You are the Compassionate One.

O Christ, since you sanctified our souls and bodies from above by imprinting your divine seal in an indescribable state. Heal everyone with your dear hand.

Glory be to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit

O Most Good Lord. Since for your indescribable love you received ointments of ointment on the hands of an adulteress. So have mercy on your servants.

Now and at all times and forever and ever, Amen

O pure and all-praiseworthy. The superior righteousness. Have mercy on those anointed with divine oil and save your servants.

Sixth valleys

O lover of mankind, by whose command the anointing was made clear to kings by means of oil. And the chief priests completed it. Save also by sealing the sick, since you are the Compassionate One.

Do not touch the company of the two jinn. The senses are sealed with divine oil. Rather, O Savior, surround them with the covering of Your glory.

Glory be to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit

Extend your hand from above, O lover of mankind. And sanctify your oil, O Savior. And give it to your servants for health and freedom from all diseases.

Now and at all times and forever and ever, Amen

You have appeared as a fruitful olive tree in the house of your God, O Mother of the Creator. O you through whom the world appeared full of mercies, so save the sick by the power of your intercessions.

Qandaq with the second tune

Oh, the most righteous. O you who are the fountain of mercies. Save those who seek refuge with fervent faith in your indescribable mercy from all kinds of harm, remove their diseases, O Compassionate One, and bestow upon them your divine grace from above.

The seventh valleys

O God, the only Savior. O You who, with His mercy and compassion, heals the pain of everyone’s souls. And smashing their bodies. You treat those afflicted with illnesses and grant them healing.

O Lord Christ, who with the anointing of oil anoints the heads of all. Grant joy and happiness to those who ask you for the mercy of redemption, with your rich mercies.

Glory be to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit

O Savior, your seal is a sword against the devils. And a fire that destroys the pain of souls. Through the prayers of the priests. Therefore, we praise you with faith, we are the ones who can be healed.

Now and at all times and forever and ever, Amen

O Mother of God. O you who contained in her womb the One who controls all things with his fist, as befits his divinity, and was incarnated from her in a state beyond description. To you, we implore you to seek his help for the sake of the sick.

The eighth valleys

O Christ, since you are the compassionate Lord. Refuse the sicknesses, harms, and pains of those who are tormented by the afflictions of suffering. With the torrents of your mercies and the anointing oils of your priests. So that when they are saved, they will be glorified and thankful.

Glory be to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit

Lord. Do not keep your mercy away from us, the ones on whom the badge of superior power and the divine oil of joy are drawn. And do not turn away from those who always cry out in faith: Bless the Lord, all you works of the Lord.

Now and at all times and forever and ever. Amen.

O pure one. Nature has taken your divine birth as its honorable crown. Crushing enemy convoys. And uprooting their pride. Therefore, we, who are crowned with the rays of your joyful talents, praise you, O Most Praiseworthy Lady.

The ninth valleys

O Compassionate One. Come down from heaven and declare your mercy to all. Now give your strength and support to those who come to you with the divine anointing. Which of the priests. O lover of mankind.

O all-righteous Savior. We have looked with joy at the divine oil that you have taken with your divine power. Better than your partners. And it was awarded as a fee for participants in divine intimacy.

Glory be to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit

O Savior, since you are the merciful Lord. Have mercy, have mercy, and save your servants from adversity and pain. Save them from the arrows of the evil one and heal their souls and bodies with divine grace.

Now and at all times and forever and ever. Amen.

O most pure virgin. Accept the praises and supplications of your servants. And we bring those who hasten through us to your divine protection. From illnesses and excruciating pains. With your intercession.

Exploitation:

O righteous one, look with your merciful eye on the requests of us gathered today in your holy temple, and anoint your sick servants with divine oil.

The following pieces are recited by the Enos: On the fourth tune.

Let every breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord from the heavens. Praise Him in the highest. You must be praised, O God.

O compassionate and loving human being. You have bestowed your grace at the hands of your apostles. To heal everyone's plagues and illnesses, with your holy oil. Therefore, sanctify and have mercy on those who now come to your holy oil with faith, since you are the Compassionate One, and purify them from every disease. And grant them your uncorrupted food, O Lord.

Praise God in His saints, praise Him in the orbit of His power

O unaware one. Look from heaven as You are the Compassionate One, and seal our senses with Your divine oil with Your invisible hand, O Lover of humanity. Grant to those who hasten to You in faith and to those who seek forgiveness of transgressions. Healing souls and bodies together. So that they may glorify You with longing and magnify Your glory.

Praise Him for His ability. Praise Him according to His greatness.

O lover of human beings. Sanctify your servants from above with the anointing of your oil and the touch of the priests, and deliver them from diseases, O Savior, and purify them and cleanse them from the filth of the soul, and save them from various doubts, and comfort them in their labors, and remove from them adversities and distresses, and remove from them sorrows, since you are compassionate and compassionate.

Glory, now. For the lady. On the same tune.

O court of the most pure king. O Most Praiseworthy, we implore You to cleanse our minds defiled by all sins. And make us beautiful dwellings for the transcendent divine Trinity. Even if we, your servants, are saved from humiliation. We magnify your immeasurable power and mercy.

Holy is God, Holy is the Powerful, Holy is the Immortal, have mercy on us (three times)

Glory be to the Father, to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, now and at all times and to the ages of ages, Amen.

O Holy Trinity, have mercy on us, O Lord, forgive our sins, O Lord, overlook our bad deeds, O Holy One, come forth and heal our diseases, for your name’s sake.

Lord have mercy, Lord have mercy, Lord have mercy,

Glory be to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, now and at all times and to the ages of ages, Amen.

Our father in the skies. Hallowed be your name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done. As in heaven so on earth. Give us our essential bread today. And leave to us what we owe, just as we leave it to those who owe it to us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, Amen

O Christ, since you alone are quick to help. Show the need quickly from on high to your suffering servants. Save them from sicknesses and bitter pains, and awaken them to praise and glorify You without lethargy through the intercessions of the Mother of God. O lover of mankind alone.

Then the senior priest takes the Holy Bible and draws the shape of a cross on top of what is placed in the oil and says:

Blessed is the kingdom of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Now and at all times and forever and ever. Amen.

The deacon or second priest says the following salutations:

In peace we ask the Lord.

O Lord, who heals with your mercy and compassion the crushing of our souls and bodies. You, Lord, sanctify this oil. So that those anointed with it may have healing and redemption from all pains, psychological and physical defilements, and from all evils. May your all-holy name be glorified, O Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Now and at all times and forever and ever. Amen.

On the fourth tune

O Christ, since you alone are quick to help. So quickly show your concern from above to your suffering servants. And save them from sicknesses and bitter pains. Arouse them to praise and glorify You without lethargy through the intercessions of the Mother of God. O lover of mankind alone.

I come before you, O Christ. I am blind in my soul, like one who has been blind since birth. Crying to you in repentance, forgive me, O merciful one alone.

On the third tune

Arise, O Lord, with your divine providence, my soul, which is so paralyzed with various sins and ugly deeds, just as you aroused the paralyzed one of old, so that when I emerge alive, I cry out: O Merciful Christ, grant me healing.

On the fourth tune

Since you are a disciple of the Lord, you have accepted the Gospel, my friend. Since you are a martyr, you will not be returned disappointed, and since you are a brother of God, you have the right to guide him, and since you are a high priest who has the right to intercede, pray to Christ God to save our souls.

The word of God the Father and His only Son, when He came to us in the last days, made you, O God-inspired Jacob, the first shepherd and teacher of Jerusalem and a faithful administrator of the services of the spiritual mysteries. That is why we all honor you, Jacob.

On the third tune

You have appeared as a priest in Myra, O saint. Because when you fulfilled the Gospel of Christ, O righteous one, you laid down your life for your people and saved the innocents from death, therefore you were sanctified since you are a great path to God’s grace.

The world has found you to be a great rescuer in adversity and a conqueror of nations, O wearer of war, Demetrius. Just as you destroyed the haughtiness of Hawash with your encouragement to line up in the field, O saint, likewise he begged Christ God to grant us mercy.

O saint clothed in struggle and healer Panteleimon, intercede with the merciful God to grant our souls forgiveness of transgressions.

On the eighth tune

O saints who hate silver and do wonders. They missed our illnesses. Freely you received, freely give us.

On the second tune

Who can describe your greatness, O virgin? Because wonders overflow and healing emanates. And intercede for our souls, since you speak theology and describe Christ.

O warm intercessor, and the wall that does not fight. Fountain of mercies, and refuge of the world, we always cry to You. Take care, O Lady Theotokos, and save us from adversity, O You alone who are quick to intercede.

After that, the following message is read

A chapter from the Universal Epistle of St. James the Apostle (5:10)

First Gospel

An honorable chapter from the Gospel of Saint Luke, the Evangelist and pure disciple. Let's listen.

(25:10)

At that time. A lawyer came to Jesus to test him and said: Master, what must I do to inherit eternal life? And he said to him, “What is written in the law?” How do you read? He answered and said: You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself. he said to him. You answered correctly: Do this and you will live. As for him, he wanted to justify himself. He said to Jesus: Who is my neighbor? Then Jesus answered and said: A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and he fell among thieves, who stripped him, wounded him, and left him half dead, and went away. It happened that a priest was going down that road and saw him and passed by. Likewise, a Levite came to the place and saw him and passed by. Then a Samaritan who was traveling passed by him, and when he saw him, he had compassion. So he went to him, bandaged his wounds, poured oil and wine on them, carried him on his animal, brought him to a hotel and took care of him. The next day, while he was leaving, he took out two dinars and gave them to the hotel owner and told him to take care of him, and whatever you spend on top of this, I will pay it to you when I return. Which of these three do you think was a relative of the one who fell among the thieves? He said he had mercy on him. And Jesus said to him, Go and do likewise.

Have mercy on us, O God, according to your great mercy. We ask you, so answer and have mercy.

We also ask for mercy, life, safety, well-being, salvation, and the removal of hardships, diseases, and plagues from (these) servants of God who repent of their sins, and for their success, success, loss, and forgiveness of their sins.

Because you are a merciful God who loves mankind, and to you we send glory, O Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, now and at all times and to the ages of ages, Amen.

O eternal and eternal God. O Holy of Saints. O He who sent His only Son to heal every sickness and disease in our souls and bodies. Send your Holy Spirit and sanctify this oil. Make it for your servants who intend to be anointed with it for complete salvation from their sins and inheritance of the heavenly kingdom.

Because you are the great and wonderful God, who keeps your covenant and your mercy with those who love you. The Grantor of deliverance from sins through Your Holy Son, Jesus Christ. O He who reborn us and saved us from sin. O enlightener of the blind and uplifter of the oppressed. O lover of the righteous and merciful of sinners. O you who brought us out of darkness and the shadow of death. Saying: To those who are in darkness, come out, and to those who are in darkness, make known. For the light of knowing your only Son has shone in our hearts after His appearance on earth for our sake and His behavior with people. To those who received him, he gave the right to become children of God. He granted us sonship through the intimacy of rebirth. He freed us from the slavery of Satan, because he was not pleased that we should be veiled with blood, but rather gave us the mark of his cross with holy oil, purifying us with water and sanctifying us with his Holy Spirit, so that we would be subjects of Christ. A royal priesthood, a holy nation. You, O Lord Master, give us grace for this service of yours, just as you gave Moses your servant, Samuel your friend, and John your chosen one. And all those who pleased you in every generation after generation. Thus make us also servants of your new covenant, in sanctifying this oil that you acquired with the generous blood of your Christ. So that we may put off worldly desires, die to sin, and live for righteousness. We put on our Lord Jesus Christ, with the anointing of the holy oil that is about to be perfected. O Lord, may this oil be preserved. Oil of rejoicing, oil of sanctification. Royal clothing. Power armor. Repelling every satanic act. A seal that is not deceitful. A rejoicing of hearts, eternal joy. So that those anointed with this oil of rebirth may be awe-inspiring to the stubborn, so that they may shine in the splendor of your saints, free from all defilement and blemish, and they may be accepted into your eternal rest and receive the reward of the highest calling.

Because from you is mercy and salvation, O our God, and we glorify you, O Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, now and at all times and to the ages of ages. Amen.

O Holy Father, Physician of souls and bodies. O He who sent His only Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, to heal every disease and save from death. You heal your servant (so-and-so) from the mental and physical illnesses that afflict him. And revive him with the grace of your Christ. Through the intercession of Our Lady, the Most Holy Mother of God and the ever-virgin Mary. By the power of the noble and life-giving Cross, and by the requests of the heavenly forces, the honorable and incorporeal. And with the supplications of the noble and glorious Prophet John the Baptist. And the honorable saints, the apostles, whose praise is universal. And the glorious saints, martyrs, and victorious ones. And our righteous fathers who are inspired by God. And the silver physician saints: Cosmas, Damianus, Cyreus, John, Panteleimon, Armolaus, Samson, Diomedes, Mucius, Enicetus, Thalalaus, and Tryphon. And the righteous saints, grandfather of Christ God, Joachim and Anna. And all the saints.

Because you are the source of healing, O our God. We glorify You, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Now and at all times and forever and ever. Amen.

While the first priest anoints the sick person or patients with oil, the deacon, one of the attendees, or one of the priests says the following message:

A chapter from the Epistle of Saint Paul the Apostle to the Romans (1:15)

Brothers, we who are strong must bear the weakness of the weak and not please ourselves. Let each one of us please his neighbor for good and for edification. For Christ did not please himself, but as he wrote, the reproaches of those who reproached you fell on me. Because everything that was written before was written for our instruction, so that we may have hope through patience and the comfort of the Scriptures. May the God of patience and comfort grant you to be of the same mind among yourselves according to Christ Jesus. So that with one soul and one mouth you glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. For this reason, accept one another as Christ adopted you, for the glory of God.

Hallelujah. I praise your mercies, O Lord, forever.

Second Gospel

An honorable chapter from the Gospel of Saint Luke, the Evangelist and pure disciple. Let's listen.

(1:19)

At that time. While Jesus was passing through Jericho, there was a man named Zacchaeus, who was the leader of the tax collectors and was rich. He was seeking to see who Jesus was, but he was not able to from the crowd because he was short in stature. So he ran ahead and climbed a sycamore tree to see him, for he was about to pass by it. When Jesus reached the place, he looked up and saw him, and said to him: Zacchaeus, hurry down, for today I must stay at your house. So he hurried down and kissed him with joy. When the crowd saw this, they complained, saying: He came to stay with a sinful man. Then Zacchaeus stood and said to Jesus: Here I am, Lord, I give half of my possessions to the poor. If I have wronged anyone in anything, I will pay back four times. Jesus said to him: Today salvation has come to this house, because he too is a son of Abraham. Because the Son of Man came to seek and save what was lost.

Because you have mercy on us and save us, O Christ our God. And we glorify you with your beginningless Father and your all-holy, good and life-giving Spirit. Now and at all times and forever and ever. Amen.

Then the following message:

A chapter from the first letter of Saint Paul the Apostle to the Corinthians (12:27 to 13:8)

Brothers. You are the body of Christ and its individual members. God has placed in the church people, first, apostles, second, prophets, third, teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healings, reliefs, administrations, and varieties of tongues. Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Are all of them workers of miracles? Do everyone have gifts of healing? Do all speak in tongues? Maybe everyone translates? But compete for the best talent and I will show you a much better way. If I speak with the tongues of men and angels, and do not have love in me, then I am just sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. And if I have prophecy and know all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith to move mountains, but do not have love, then I am nothing. And if I give away all my possessions and give my body to be burned, but do not have love, I gain nothing. Love is patient and kind. Love does not envy. Love does not boast or be puffed up. And no ugliness comes. She does not seek what is hers. And don't get angry. And don't think bad. Do not rejoice in injustice, but rejoice in the truth. It tolerates everything, believes everything, hopes everything, and is patient with everything. Love never fails.

Hallelujah. In you, O Lord, I trust, I will never be ashamed.

Third Gospel

An honorable chapter from the Gospel of Saint Matthew, the Evangelist and pure disciple. Let's listen.

(10:1 and 10:5-9)

At that time. Jesus called his twelve disciples and gave them authority over unclean spirits to cast them out and to heal every disease and every sickness. These Jesus sent and commanded them, saying: Do not go into the way of the Gentiles, and do not enter into a city of Samaritans. Rather, they went to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. And as you set out, preach, saying: The kingdom of heaven is at hand. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you received, freely give.

After the students and the announcement, the following supplication is recited:

To the Lord we ask - Lord, have mercy

O Lord Almighty, Holy King. O He who disciplines and does not kill, O He who supports the oppressed and straightens the oppressed. O He who removed from people their physical sorrows. We ask you, O our God, to pour out your mercy on this oil and on those anointed with it in your name, so that it may be used for the healing of souls and bodies. And for purification, purification, and redemption from all pains, diseases, weaknesses, and all defilements of the body and spirit. Yes, Lord, send from heaven your healing power. So touch the body, extinguish the heat, soothe the pain, and expel every hidden disease. Be a doctor for your servants (these) and raise them from the bed of diseases and the bed of illnesses, and give them to your church, healthy and perfect, pleasing to you and doing your will.

Because you have mercy on us and save us, O our God. We glorify You, O Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, now and at all times and to the ages of ages. Amen.

Then the following message:

A chapter from the Second Epistle of Saint Paul the Apostle to the Corinthians (6:16)

Brothers. You are the temple of the living God, as God said: I will dwell in them and walk among them. I will be their God, and they will be my people. Therefore come out from among them and separate yourself, says the Lord, and do not touch the unclean, and I will receive you and be a father to you, and you shall be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty. Since we have these promises, beloved ones, let us purify ourselves from every filth of the flesh and spirit. Perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

Hallelujah. I patiently waited for the Lord and He listened to me

Fourth Gospel

An honorable chapter from the Gospel of Saint Matthew, the Evangelist and pure disciple (14:8)

At that time. Jesus came to Peter's house and saw his mother-in-law lying feverish. He touched her hand and the fever left her, so she got up and began serving them. When evening came, many people with demons came to him. He used to cast out spirits with a word, and healed everyone who was sick. In order to fulfill what was said by Isaiah the prophet, saying: He took our sicknesses and bore our diseases. When Jesus saw a large crowd around him, he ordered him to go to the other side. A scribe came to him and said to him: Teacher, I will follow you wherever you go. Jesus said to him: Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head. Another of his disciples said to him: Lord, permit me to go first and bury my father. Jesus said to him: Follow me and let the dead bury their dead. When he entered the boat, his disciples followed him.

Then the students, the announcement and the following supplication:

O good, compassionate Lord, lover of humanity, abundant in mercy, abundant in compassion, and rich in goodness. The Father of compassion and the God of all comfort. O you who gave us, through His holy apostles, the power to heal the people’s diseases with oil and prayer. You make this oil for the healing of those anointed with it, for salvation from every sickness and disease, and for deliverance from evil, for the sake of those who expect salvation from you. Yes, O Lord, our God, the Almighty, we ask you, praying that you will save us all. O Physician of souls and bodies alone, sanctify us all, O Healer of all sicknesses, heal these servants of Yours and raise them from the bed of their sickness with the mercies of Your goodness. And miss them with your mercy and compassion. And protect them from every weakness and sickness. May they rise up by Your dear hand, and worship You with all thanksgiving, so that when we also enjoy Your indescribable love for humanity, we praise and glorify You, O Creator of glorious greats and dazzling miracles.

Because you have mercy on us and save us, O our God. We glorify You, O Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, now and at all times and to the ages of ages. Amen.

Then the following message:

A chapter from the Second Epistle of Saint Paul the Apostle to the Corinthians (1-8-12)

Brothers. We do not want you to be ignorant of our distress that befell us in Asia, that we have become so burdened beyond our strength that we have despaired of life as well. But we had within ourselves the sentence of death so that we would not depend on ourselves but on God who raises the dead. Who saved us from such a death, and He will deliver us. What we have hope in is that he will also be delivered later. You also help us by praying for us, so that thanksgiving may be given on our behalf by many people for what has been given to us by many.

Hallelujah. I praise your mercies, O Lord, forever

Fifth Gospel

The Lord told this parable. The kingdom of heaven is like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Five of them were wise and five were foolish. So the foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them. As for the wise, they took oil in their vessels and their lamps. As the groom lingered, they all became drowsy and fell asleep. At midnight, there was a cry: Behold, the bridegroom has come, go out to meet him. Then all those virgins got up and fixed their lamps. Then the foolish said to the wise, “Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.” Then the wise women answered, saying, “Perhaps it is not enough for us, but go to the sellers and buy something.” When they went to buy the groom's delegation, the prepared women entered with him to the wedding and closed the door. Finally, the rest of the virgins came, saying: Lord, Lord, open to us. He answered and said: Verily I say, I do not know you. So stay awake, for you do not know the day or the hour in which the Son of Man is coming.

After the students and the announcement, the following supplication is recited:

Then the following message:

A chapter from the Epistle of Saint Paul the Apostle to the Galatians (5:22)

Brothers. The fruit of the Spirit is: love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and chastity. There is no law against this. And those who belong to Christ crucified their bodies with pains and desires. If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit. Let us not be arrogant, nor be angry, nor be jealous of one another. Brothers. If anyone commits a trespass, you who are spiritual make amends to such a person in the spirit of gentleness, and you shall see for yourself, lest you also be tempted. Bear one another's burdens, and thus fulfill the law of Christ.

Hallelujah. Blessed is the man who fears the Lord.

Sixth Gospel

An honorable chapter from the Gospel of Saint Matthew, the Evangelist and pure disciple. Let's listen. (Matthew 15:21)

At that time. Jesus went out to the region of Tire and Sidon. And behold, a Canaanite woman came out from those borders and cried out to him, saying: Have mercy on me, O Lord, Son of David. My daughter has a demon that is tormenting her greatly. He did not answer her with a word. Then his disciples came and asked him, saying: Send her away, for she is crying after us. Then Jesus answered and said to them: I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. So she came and prostrated to him, saying: Help me, O Lord. He answered, saying: It is not good to take the children's bread and throw it to the dogs. She said: Yes, Lord, for dogs also eat the crumbs that fall from their masters’ tables. Then Jesus answered and said to her: O woman, great is your faith, let it be done to you as you wish. Her daughter was healed from that hour.

After the students and the announcement, the following supplication is recited:

Then the following message:

A chapter from the First Epistle of Saint Paul the Apostle to the Thessalonians. (5:14)

Brothers. We ask you to advise the reckless. Encourage young souls. And support the weak. And be patient with everyone. Be careful not to reward another for evil for evil. Rather, pursue what is good at all times, one to another and to all. Always rejoice. Pray without ceasing. Give thanks for everything. For this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. Do not extinguish the spirit. Do not despise prophecies. Test everything and hold on to what is good. Abstain from every kind of evil. May the God of peace himself sanctify you completely. May your spirits, souls, and bodies be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Hallelujah. The Lord will answer you on the day of sorrow.

Seventh Gospel

An honorable chapter from the Gospel of Saint Matthew, the Evangelist and pure disciple. Let's listen. (9:9)

At that time. As Jesus passed by, he saw a man sitting at the tax table named Matthew, and he said to him, “Follow me.” So he got up and followed him. While he was reclining in the house, behold, many tax collectors and sinners came and sat down with Jesus and his disciples. When the Pharisees saw it, they said to his disciples, Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners? When he heard Jesus say: Those who are healthy do not need a doctor, but those who are sick do. So go and know what this means: I want mercy, not sacrifice. For I did not come to call friends but sinners to repentance.

After the students and the announcement, the following supplication is recited:

After reciting the above supplication, the senior priest takes the Holy Bible and places it open and upside down on the head of the patient or patients, and all the priests participating in the service place their hands on it. As for the one who comes forward, he separates from them and recites the following supplication in a loud voice:

Glory be to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit

O saints who have exhausted silver. Since you have attained the fountain of healing, you grant healing to all those who supplicate, since you have been qualified for the great gifts from our Savior, the ever-flowing Eye. Because the Lord says about you, like the apostles in zeal. Behold, I have given you authority over unclean spirits to cast them out and to heal every sickness and disease. Therefore, since you have behaved well according to his commandments, you have received freely, so freely give us the healing of the sufferings of our souls and our bodies.

Now and at all times and forever and ever. Amen.

O lady, innocent of every defect. Pay attention to the requests of those who supplicate to you. Protect us from the evils that rage against us, and save us from all sorrow. Because you alone are the safe anchor and the sure guard for us, and we have taken you as a supporter, so we do not lose heart when we call upon you. So hasten to answer those who cry out to you out of faith. Rejoice, Lady, help, joy, and protection of all, and salvation of our souls

  1.  First: On the seven gifts of the Holy Spirit.

  2.  Second: On the number of seven prayers with which Elijah the Prophet sent down rain from the sky (1 Kings 18:43).

  3.  Third: On the number of prayers and rak’ahs that the Prophet Elisha, son of the Shunammite, performed (2 Kings 4: 32-36). Fourth: On the number of times Naaman the Syrian washed in the waters of the Jordan and was cleansed of his leprosy (2 Kings 5:10, 14)

Likewise, mixing oil with wine means: Let us imitate the action of the compassionate Samaritan who poured oil and wine on the wounds of the situation among the thieves. Wheat is used to console the sick person and strengthen his hopes for recovery.

Because just as a dry grain of wheat grows with earthly moisture and blossoms into a bright, fresh ear, so the sick person must believe that if he anoints his ailing body with oil, his health and freshness will return to him.
