Nous tenterons de clarifier le sens de l\u2019expression \u00ab le Fils unique de Dieu \u00bb dans l\u2019Ancien et le Nouveau Testament.<\/p>\n<p>Dans l\u2019Ancien Testament, ce titre faisait r\u00e9f\u00e9rence \u00e0 de nombreuses cr\u00e9atures : les Juifs comprenaient l\u2019expression \u00ab fils de Dieu \u00bb \u00e9voqu\u00e9e dans Gen\u00e8se 6\u00a0:\u00a02 comme d\u00e9signant les anges. Quant \u00e0 Isra\u00ebl (c&#039;est-\u00e0-dire le peuple de Dieu), il est aussi fils de Dieu : \u00ab Et dis \u00e0 Pharaon : Ainsi parle l&#039;\u00c9ternel : Isra\u00ebl est mon fils premier-n\u00e9 \u00bb (Exode 4\u00a0:22), et \u00ab Toi sont les fils de l\u2019\u00c9ternel, votre Dieu \u00bb (Deut\u00e9ronome 14\u00a0:1), et le roi David est connu pour \u00eatre le fils de Dieu : \u00ab Je serai son p\u00e8re, et il sera mon fils \u00bb (2 Rois 7\u00a0:14). ).<\/p>\n<p>  <!--more-->  <\/p>\n<p>La signification du titre \u00ab Fils de Dieu \u00bb dans le Nouveau Testament diff\u00e8re de celle de l\u2019Ancien Testament. L\u2019auteur de l\u2019\u00e9p\u00eetre aux H\u00e9breux affirme dans l\u2019ouverture de sa lettre que J\u00e9sus-Christ, le Fils de Dieu, est plus grand que. les anges : \u00ab Dieu nous a enfin parl\u00e9 en ces jours-ci par le Fils, qu&#039;il a \u00e9tabli h\u00e9ritier de toutes choses et par lequel il a cr\u00e9\u00e9 d&#039;\u00e9ternit\u00e9 \u00bb (1, 2), imm\u00e9diatement apr\u00e8s quoi il souligne que ce fils \u00ab est plus grand que que les anges, proportionnellement \u00e0 la sup\u00e9riorit\u00e9 du nom qu\u2019il a h\u00e9rit\u00e9 sur leurs noms \u00bb (1\u00a0:\u00a04). Aussi, le Fils est plus grand que David, car le Christ lui-m\u00eame dit que David l\u2019appelait Seigneur lorsqu\u2019il chantait son c\u00e9l\u00e8bre psaume : \u00ab L\u2019\u00c9ternel dit \u00e0 mon Seigneur : Assieds-toi \u00e0 ma droite jusqu\u2019\u00e0 ce que je fasse de tes ennemis ton marchepied \u00bb (Psaume 110 : 1 et Matthieu 22\u00a0:42-46). Ainsi, J\u00e9sus-Christ le Fils est plus grand que tous les fils de Dieu mentionn\u00e9s dans l\u2019Ancien Testament.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019ap\u00f4tre Paul utilise le titre \u00ab Fils de Dieu \u00bb (seulement 15 fois contre 184 fois pour le titre \u00ab Seigneur \u00bb) pour faire r\u00e9f\u00e9rence \u00e0 l\u2019\u0153uvre salvifique du Fils : \u00ab Et quand la pl\u00e9nitude des temps fut venue, Dieu envoya son Fils, n\u00e9 d&#039;une femme, n\u00e9 sous la loi, pour racheter ceux qui \u00e9taient sous la loi, afin que nous puissions recevoir l&#039;adoption comme fils \u00bb (Galates 4\u00a0:\u00a04). Cette \u0153uvre couronne le Fils au dernier jour, jour de la r\u00e9surrection g\u00e9n\u00e9rale, en soumettant toutes choses \u00e0 Dieu : \u00ab Alors le Fils se soumettra \u00e0 celui qui lui a soumis toutes choses, afin que Dieu soit tout en tous \u00bb (1 Corinthiens 15\u00a0:28).<\/p>\n<p>Le discours sur le Fils dans le Nouveau Testament est li\u00e9 au discours sur le fils sacrificiel qui sera livr\u00e9 \u00e0 la mort, c&#039;est pourquoi nous voyons l&#039;ap\u00f4tre Paul faire r\u00e9f\u00e9rence au don de Dieu de son Fils pour le salut du monde : \u00ab Qui n&#039;a pas a \u00e9pargn\u00e9 son propre Fils, mais l&#039;a livr\u00e9 pour nous tous, comment ne nous donnera-t-il pas aussi toutes choses avec lui ? \u00bb (Romains 8\u00a0:\u00a032). Jean l&#039;\u00c9vang\u00e9liste restitue le m\u00eame tableau lorsqu&#039;il affirme : \u00ab Car Dieu a tant aim\u00e9 le monde qu&#039;il a donn\u00e9 son Fils unique, afin que quiconque croit en lui ne p\u00e9risse pas mais ait la vie \u00e9ternelle \u00bb (3, 16). Dans l&#039;\u00c9p\u00eetre aux Galates, Paul ne mentionne pas, dans son discours sur le sacrifice divin, le r\u00f4le de Dieu dans ce sacrifice, se r\u00e9f\u00e9rant seulement au r\u00f4le du Fils lorsqu&#039;il dit qu&#039;il vit \u00ab par la foi au Fils de Dieu, qui il m\u2019a aim\u00e9 et s\u2019est donn\u00e9 pour moi \u00bb (2\u00a0:\u00a020).<\/p>\n<p>Dans l&#039;\u00c9p\u00eetre aux Colossiens, il y a un hymne important dont le sujet est l&#039;\u0153uvre du Fils, \u00ab en qui nous avons la r\u00e9demption par son sang, le pardon des p\u00e9ch\u00e9s \u00bb (1\u00a0: 13-14). Le chant commence en indiquant que le Fils de Dieu est \u00ab l\u2019image du Dieu invisible et le premier-n\u00e9 de toute cr\u00e9ation \u00bb (verset 15), puis l\u2019auteur du chant affirme que \u00ab par lui et par lui toutes choses ont \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9es \u00bb (verset 15). verset 16), terminant en soulignant que le P\u00e8re s&#039;est r\u00e9concili\u00e9 avec l&#039;humanit\u00e9 \u00ab par lui (c&#039;est-\u00e0-dire par le Fils) \u00ab Chacun s&#039;est fait la paix par le sang de sa croix, toutes choses sur la terre et celles qui sont dans les cieux \u00bb (verset 16). 20).<\/p>\n<p>Le concept de l&#039;ap\u00f4tre Paul concernant le titre \u00ab Fils de Dieu \u00bb, qui est le concept auquel croyait la premi\u00e8re communaut\u00e9 chr\u00e9tienne, est r\u00e9sum\u00e9 dans les points suivants : J\u00e9sus-Christ crucifi\u00e9 n&#039;est pas seulement l&#039;homme que Dieu a ressuscit\u00e9 des morts, mais il est plus grand que cela : Il est le Fils de Dieu, l&#039;\u00eatre divin et \u00e9ternel, qui s&#039;est fait homme et a rachet\u00e9 l&#039;humanit\u00e9 par sa mort et sa r\u00e9surrection, en lui accordant le salut.<\/p>\n<p>Dans l\u2019introduction de son \u00c9vangile, Jean nous dit : \u00ab Personne n\u2019a jamais vu Dieu. Le Fils unique, qui est dans le sein du P\u00e8re, l\u2019a fait conna\u00eetre \u00bb (1\u00a0:\u00a018). Cependant, dans de nombreux manuscrits anciens, ce verset comporte un ajout important qui confirme la divinit\u00e9 du Fils, de sorte que la deuxi\u00e8me partie du verset devient la suivante : \u00ab Le Fils unique, le Dieu qui est dans le sein du P\u00e8re, a fait conna\u00eetre. \u00bb Linguistiquement, le mot \u00ab Dieu \u00bb dans le verset remplace l\u2019expression \u00ab Fils de Dieu \u00bb. Cet ajout a \u00e9t\u00e9 indiqu\u00e9 par des traductions bien connues de la Bible, cit\u00e9es par des p\u00e8res majeurs tels qu&#039;Ir\u00e9n\u00e9e de Lyon (+202), Cl\u00e9ment d&#039;Alexandrie (+211), et Gr\u00e9goire de Nazianze (+391)...<\/p>\n<p>Le th\u00e9ologien Jean dit : \u00ab Celui qui croit au Fils a la vie \u00e9ternelle, et celui qui ne croit pas au Fils ne verra pas la vie, mais la col\u00e8re de Dieu repose sur lui \u00bb (3\u00a0:\u00a036). Dans l&#039;\u00c9vangile de Jean, l&#039;accent est constamment mis sur le fait que le fruit de la foi au Fils est la vie \u00e9ternelle que nous obtenons \u00e0 cette \u00e9poque au cours de notre vie relativement courte. Cela est d\u00fb au Christ - selon le t\u00e9moignage de l&#039;\u00e9vang\u00e9liste Jean. - ne fait pas de la vie \u00e9ternelle un projet futur qui se r\u00e9alisera le dernier jour, mais am\u00e8ne plut\u00f4t la vie \u00e9ternelle \u00e0 ce jour et la rend pr\u00e9sente dans les Minutes de nos vies. \u00ab\u00a0Maintenant et ici\u00a0\u00bb - et non demain et l\u00e0-bas - le croyant obtient la vie \u00e9ternelle s&#039;il croit au Fils de Dieu comme Dieu et Sauveur.
