Quando alguns querem confirmar que Cristo n\u00e3o era Deus, mas apenas um ser humano, muitas vezes voc\u00ea os v\u00ea recorrendo a vers\u00edculos que O chamam de \u201cFilho do Homem\u201d ou \u201cFilho do Homem\u201d. Estas pessoas ignoram, sem d\u00favida, que este t\u00edtulo inclui um reconhecimento expl\u00edcito de que Cristo \u00e9 Deus, uma vez que este t\u00edtulo se refere na B\u00edblia Sagrada, nos seus dois Testamentos, a um ser divino com forma humana. O t\u00edtulo de Filho do Homem n\u00e3o \u00e9 menos importante que o t\u00edtulo de Filho de Deus, porque os atributos do Filho do Homem tamb\u00e9m s\u00e3o atributos divinos.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Daniel, o Profeta, foi o primeiro a dar este t\u00edtulo a um ser que viria no fim dos tempos para reinar para sempre: \u201cE eu vi nas vis\u00f5es da noite, e eis que algu\u00e9m como o Filho do Homem vinha nas nuvens do c\u00e9u. Eles O adoram, e Sua autoridade \u00e9 eterna e n\u00e3o desaparecer\u00e1, e Seu reino n\u00e3o ser\u00e1 destru\u00eddo (Daniel 7:13-14). A imagem do Senhor vindo nas nuvens \u00e9 uma imagem familiar no Antigo Testamento que indica a presen\u00e7a poderosa do pr\u00f3prio Deus.<\/p>\n

Jesus Cristo revelou aos seus disc\u00edpulos que ele \u00e9 o Filho do Homem mencionado no Livro de Daniel, e em seu discurso sobre o fim dos tempos ele usa a mesma imagem encontrada em Daniel, dizendo: \u201cE ent\u00e3o o sinal do Filho do Homem aparecer\u00e1\u201d. aparecer\u00e1 no c\u00e9u, e naquele tempo todas as tribos da terra chorar\u00e3o e ver\u00e3o o Filho do Homem vindo nas nuvens do c\u00e9u com poder e grande majestade\u201d (Mateus 24:30).
Falar sobre Cristo ser o Filho do Homem est\u00e1 ligado a falar sobre o \u00faltimo dia e o julgamento, pois o Filho do Homem \u00e9 o juiz que julgar\u00e1 os vivos e os mortos.<\/p>\n

A conversa sobre o Filho do Homem tamb\u00e9m est\u00e1 ligada \u00e0 conversa sobre o sofrimento salvador do Senhor. Cada vez que Jesus ensinava aos seus disc\u00edpulos sobre a sua morte e ressurrei\u00e7\u00e3o, ele usava o t\u00edtulo de Filho do Homem. (Mateus 20:18-19).<\/p>\n

No Evangelho de Jo\u00e3o, a hora da morte na cruz \u00e9 a hora da gl\u00f3ria, e o Filho do Homem \u00e9 aquele que morrer\u00e1 e ser\u00e1 glorificado na sua morte. Na noite em que foi tra\u00eddo, Jesus disse: \u201c Agora o Filho do Homem foi glorificado e Deus foi glorificado nele\u201d (13:31).<\/p>\n

Mas esta morte na qual o Filho do Homem glorificar\u00e1 a Deus \u00e9 a mesma que dar\u00e1 a salva\u00e7\u00e3o ao mundo: \u201cE assim como Mois\u00e9s levantou a serpente no deserto, assim importa que o Filho do Homem seja levantado, para que todo aquele que cr\u00ea nele n\u00e3o pere\u00e7a, mas tenha a vida eterna (Jo\u00e3o 3:14-15) Portanto, o Filho do Homem concede a salva\u00e7\u00e3o a todo aquele que nele cr\u00ea, crucificado por ele e para sua salva\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n

A raz\u00e3o pela qual os judeus condenaram Cristo \u00e0 morte foi porque ele lhes disse que era o Filho do Homem. Quando Caif\u00e1s, o sumo sacerdote, lhe perguntou: Voc\u00ea \u00e9 o Cristo, o bendito Filho de Deus? Jesus respondeu-lhe: \u201cEu sou ele, e vereis o Filho do Homem sentado \u00e0 direita do Poder e vindo sobre as nuvens do c\u00e9u\u201d (Marcos 14:61). Ent\u00e3o toda a assembl\u00e9ia judaica o acusou de blasf\u00eamia e o sentenciou \u00e0 morte. Os judeus entenderam que quando Jesus se considerava Filho do Homem, ele se equiparava a Deus, pois este t\u00edtulo se refere a um ser divino que viria do c\u00e9u nas nuvens para restaurar o reino a Israel, mas Cristo decepcionou suas esperan\u00e7as e lhes mostrou um rei diferente do que imaginavam, ent\u00e3o o mataram como o pior dos assassinos.<\/p>\n

N\u00e3o h\u00e1 d\u00favida de que a miss\u00e3o principal do Filho do Homem \u00e9 conceder a salva\u00e7\u00e3o a todos os seres humanos, pois \u201co Filho do Homem veio buscar e salvar o que estava perdido\u201d (Lucas 19:10). O Filho do Homem veio, morreu e ressuscitou, cumprindo toda a justi\u00e7a, e nos salvou com seu sangue, e vir\u00e1 no \u00faltimo dia para julgar os vivos e os mortos. Preparemo-nos para esse dia com o que o pr\u00f3prio Jesus tem. desenhados para a nossa salva\u00e7\u00e3o, para que a surpresa n\u00e3o seja uma cat\u00e1strofe que n\u00e3o dure para sempre.<\/p>\n
