Existe algo mais elevado e mais ben\u00e9fico do que esse pensamento? Quando esses pensamentos alegres dominam nossas almas, o anseio eterno dentro de n\u00f3s aumenta e os maus pensamentos n\u00e3o encontrar\u00e3o caminho para nossas almas. Quando pensamos na benevol\u00eancia do grande Salvador, nosso anseio pelo Benfeitor eterno aumenta e se torna mais intenso, e com esse amor pelo Senhor, facilmente nos tornamos cumpridores de Seus mandamentos. \u201cAquele que me ama guarda os meus mandamentos\u201d (Jo\u00e3o 14:15).<\/p>\n<p>Quando pensamos que somos membros de Cristo, somos tomados por um sentimento plenamente consciente do grande status ao qual fomos chamados. Assim, n\u00e3o entregaremos nossas almas ao pecado, e n\u00e3o aceitaremos servir ao pecador e. o servo prejudicial e mau N\u00e3o abriremos a boca quando pensarmos que somos chamados para o reino celestial como membros de Cristo e n\u00e3o permitiremos que a nossa l\u00edngua vomite palavras malignas. Podemos fazer de nossa boca um instrumento de pecado se pensarmos que o Salvador tingiu nossa l\u00edngua de roxo ao participar de Seu precioso e santo sangue? \u00c9 poss\u00edvel que nossos olhos, que viram o corpo e o sangue do Salvador, vagueiem pelos lugares que causam o pecado? Se mantivermos vivos nossos pensamentos de que somos membros honrados de Cristo, contendo como um frasco de sangue, ou melhor, todo o Senhor, n\u00e3o moveremos nossos p\u00e9s nem estenderemos nossas m\u00e3os para aquilo que causa o pecado.<\/p>\n<p>Somos membros de Cristo e Cristo est\u00e1 dentro de n\u00f3s. A unidade que temos com nossas roupas, pele e ossos n\u00e3o \u00e9 a mesma que temos com Cristo, com nosso cabe\u00e7a espiritual, e somos Seus membros. Algu\u00e9m pode nos despir \u00e0 for\u00e7a. Ele pode despojar-nos dos nossos corpos, como por Cristo, n\u00e3o se n\u00e3o quisermos. Nem o homem nem o diabo podem fazer isso. \u201cFiquei convencido de que nem a morte nem a vida, nem os principados nem as potestades, nem o presente nem o futuro, nem a altura nem a profundidade, nem qualquer outra cria\u00e7\u00e3o ser\u00e1 capaz de nos separar do amor de Cristo Jesus (Romanos 8:38- 39). Que os m\u00e1rtires s\u00e3o a prova. Pela m\u00e3o dos algozes, Satan\u00e1s arrancou-lhes as entranhas, esfolou-lhes a pele, separou-lhes as partes do corpo e esmagou-lhes os ossos, mas n\u00e3o conseguiu mant\u00ea-los longe de Cristo com todos os seus truques. Sua obra foi encorajadora para eles em sua f\u00e9, mas produziu o resultado oposto. Eles se apegaram a Ele mais de perto, fortalecendo sua unidade com Ele e tornando-a uma unidade cont\u00ednua para
