Profe\u021bii nu sunt doar cei care au c\u0103r\u021bi speciale care poart\u0103 numele lor, ci \u0219i cei care au contribuit la istoria m\u00e2ntuirii, precum Moise, Ilie, Natan, David \u0219i al\u021bii. Ace\u0219ti profe\u021bi au profe\u021bit multe profe\u021bii, inclusiv cele referitoare la istoria \u0219i destinul poporului Israel sau la istoria \u0219i destinul \u00eentregii omeniri. \u00cen general, profe\u021biile au avertizat despre ce ar face Dumnezeu dac\u0103 oamenii ar continua s\u0103 se \u00eendep\u0103rteze de El \u0219i s\u0103-I fie necredincio\u0219i. Dar lui Moise sau profe\u021bilor care \u0219i-au repetat cuvintele dup\u0103 el nu i-a trecut prin minte c\u0103 acel profet a\u0219teptat va fi \u00censu\u0219i Fiul lui Dumnezeu sau Cuv\u00e2ntul \u00eentrupat al lui Dumnezeu.<\/p>\n<p>Faptul c\u0103 Hristos este Cuv\u00e2ntul \u00eentrupat al lui Dumnezeu este \u00eemplinirea profe\u021biilor care indicau c\u0103 Dumnezeu va vorbi direct tuturor oamenilor, a\u0219a cum se spune \u00een cartea profetului Isaia, care compar\u0103 poporul cu o so\u021bie, spun\u00e2nd: \u201ePentru un clipa \u00een care te-am p\u0103r\u0103sit \u0219i cu mare mil\u0103 te voi \u00eembr\u0103\u021bi\u0219a. Cu m\u00e2nie mi-am ascuns fa\u021ba de tine o clip\u0103, dar cu mil\u0103 ve\u0219nic\u0103 m\u0103 voi \u00eendura de tine\u201d (Isaia 54:7-8). Profetul Ieremia spune cu privire la noul leg\u0103m\u00e2nt pe care Dumnezeu \u00eel va stabili cu poporul s\u0103u: \u201eNu va mai \u00eenv\u0103\u021ba fiecare pe aproapele s\u0103u \u0219i pe fratele s\u0103u, zic\u00e2nd: \u201eCunoa\u0219te\u021bi pe Domnul\u201d, c\u0103ci to\u021bi M\u0103 vor cunoa\u0219te, de la cel mai mic dintre pe ei p\u00e2n\u0103 la cel mai mare dintre ei, zice Domnul, c\u0103 le voi ierta nelegiuirea \u0219i nu-mi voi mai aduce aminte de p\u0103catul lor\u201d (Ieremia 31:34).<\/p>\n<p>\u00cen v\u00e2rful darurilor enumerate de Apostolul Pavel se afl\u0103 darul profe\u021biei: \u201eC\u0103uta\u021bi dragoste \u0219i aspira\u021bi la darurile Duhului, \u00een special la profe\u021bie\u201d (1 Corinteni 14:1). Duhul Sf\u00e2nt este Cel care \u00eemparte talan\u021bi \u0219i daruri \u0219i El este Cel care vorbe\u0219te credincio\u0219ilor care sufer\u0103 persecu\u021bii \u0219i r\u0103m\u00e2n statornici \u00een credin\u021ba lor: \u201eNu voi vorbi\u021bi, ci Duhul Tat\u0103lui vostru, care vorbe\u0219te \u00een limba voastr\u0103\u201d (Matei 10:19), \u0219i El este cel care face pe fiecare credincios s\u0103 profe\u021beasc\u0103 atunci c\u00e2nd credin\u021ba este sincer\u0103: \u201e\u0218i peste slujitorii Mei \u00cemi voi rev\u0103rsa credin\u021ba \u00een zilele acelea \u0219i ei vor prooroci\u201d (Fapte 2:18).<\/p>\n<p>Profe\u021bia nu \u00eenseamn\u0103, a\u0219adar, prezicerea viitorului. Un profet este cineva care vorbe\u0219te sub inspira\u021bia Duhului Sf\u00e2nt \u0219i dezv\u0103luie secretul conducerii \u0219i voin\u021bei lui Dumnezeu \u00een circumstan\u021bele prezente.
