قد لا تستحبّ أذن رجل شرقيّ أن تسمع أحداً ينادي الله "صديقاً"! وذلك بسبب الميل الذي لدينا في الشرق لتقديم الاحترام العبادي لله. الأمر الذي يجعله فوق كلّ وصف، وخاصّة عن الأوصاف البشريّة المألوفة. لكنّ الإنسان الشرقيّ ينتظر أن يجد في الصديق أيضاً صفات وفضائل نادرة وعديدة، قد لا تجد كمالها إلاّ في الله ذاته.
