For the second times, The Orthodox Christians in Boyolali Indonesia have joined the list of those attacked by Muslim extremists. Father Methodios and his family and other Orthodox were terrorized and threatened this Sunday July 26,2009. In the first attack in 2007, there were no physical harm at this point, the verbal, psychological and other forms of abuse continue. At one point, a knife was put to the throat of Father Methodios, as his attackers demanded that he close the Churches, but the second attack ( Sunday, July 26 during divine liturgy) those Muslim extremist clobbered Fr. Methodios and abused him phsycally. Even though there were polices and Distric chief at the ******** but they could do nothing watching Fr. Methodios abused physically by those Muslim extremists in front of them.

All Orthodox Christian community and all Christian community are invited to pray for peace and an end to the violence and attacks upon the Orthodox Church community in Indonesia
