Es besteht aus besticktem Stoff und wird oft \u00fcber die Tasse und das Tablett gelegt, wenn diese auf dem Altar oder auf dem Tisch stehen. Die Hauptfunktion des Deckels besteht darin, die Utensilien vor Staub und Insekten zu sch\u00fctzen, und im Laufe der Zeit wurde der Deckel zu einem Symbol f\u00fcr die Anwesenheit von Engeln unter uns w\u00e4hrend der g\u00f6ttlichen Liturgie. \u201eDu, der du die Cherubim in Surya vertrittst \u2026\u201c, was die Chors\u00e4nger w\u00e4hrend des Gro\u00dfen Einzugs singen, bezieht sich auf die Gl\u00e4ubigen, die an der Messe teilnehmen. Der Priester tr\u00e4gt den Vorhang w\u00e4hrend des gro\u00dfen Auftritts oder des Opferzyklus auf seinen Schultern, um ihn vom Altar zum Tisch zu bewegen und die Utensilien damit abzudecken, auch wenn der Becher und das Tablett in unserem Land jeweils eine spezielle Abdeckung aus Stoff haben aus Metall in anderen L\u00e4ndern.<\/p>\n<p>  <!--more-->  <\/p>\n<p>Der Ursprung dieser Abdeckung geht auf die Tischform in alten Kirchen vor der Existenz der Ikonostase zur\u00fcck. \u00dcber dem Tisch befand sich eine Kuppel, um die herum Vorh\u00e4nge hingen, die bis zum Boden reichten. W\u00e4hrend der Messe der Katechumenen wurden die Vorh\u00e4nge hochgezogen und w\u00e4hrend der Hauptrede heruntergelassen. Als der Ikonenst\u00e4nder oder die Ikonostase gefunden wurde, wurden die Vorh\u00e4nge vor den T\u00fcren zugezogen und der Tisch freigelegt, wobei die Kuppel dar\u00fcber bestehen blieb. Daher ist eine Abdeckung zum Schutz der Tasse und des Tabletts erforderlich.<\/p>\n<p>Als der Priester in der Vergangenheit w\u00e4hrend der Messe verk\u00fcndete: \u201eDie T\u00fcren sind die T\u00fcren ...\u201c Die Diakone schlossen schnell die Au\u00dfent\u00fcren der Kirche, nachdem sie sich vergewissert hatten, dass die Katechumenen, also diejenigen, die noch nicht getauft waren und zu diesem Zeitpunkt nicht zur Teilnahme an der Kommunion berechtigt waren, die Kirche verlassen hatten. Gleichzeitig lie\u00df sie die Tischvorh\u00e4nge herunter und versteckte die Priester hinter ihnen, w\u00e4hrend sie w\u00e4hrend der wesentlichen Rede geb\u00fcckt waren. So verstehen wir die Worte des Heiligen Johannes Chrysostomus: \u201eWenn die Vorh\u00e4nge fallen, \u00f6ffnet sich der Himmel.\u201c Heute zieht der Priester w\u00e4hrend der Rezitation des Glaubensbekenntnisses den Vorhang \u00fcber die Opfergaben, und wenn der Bischof die Messe h\u00e4lt, ziehen die Priester den Vorhang \u00fcber seinen Kopf.<\/p>\n<p>Wir finden in alten Schriften, dass der Vorhang manchmal als \u201ehimmlische Decke\u201c bezeichnet wird, weil er Teil der Vorh\u00e4nge der Kuppel des Tisches ist, der den Himmel symbolisiert, oder als \u201eLeichentuch\u201c, weil er die Leichent\u00fccher des Herrn symbolisiert \u201eStein\u201c in Bezug auf den Stein, der \u00fcber die T\u00fcr des Grabes gerollt wurde.<\/p>\n<p>Es bleibt zu sagen, dass der Schleier noch einen anderen Zweck hat, da er das Gesicht des verstorbenen Priesters bedeckt, als ob der Priester, der die Opfer darbrachte, zu einer Opfergabe geworden w\u00e4re, die Gott dargebracht
