· أما الملك فيسر بالله. ويمتدح كل من يحلف به. لأنه قد سُدت أفواه المتكلمين بالظلم.

· هذذت بك في الأسحار لأنك صرت لي عوناً وبظل جناحيك أستتر، ألتصقت نفسي وراءك، وأياي عضدت يمينك.

· لماذا يا رب، تقصي نفسي، وتصرف وجهك عني.

· فقير أنا وفي الشقاء منذ شبابي. وحين ارتفعت إتضعت وافتقرت.

· عليّ جاز سخطك، وأهوالك أزعجتني. أحاطت بي كالمياه وإكتنفتني طول النهار.

· لأنه إذا هبت عليه الريح بات بلا وجود، ولا يُعرف موضعه من بعد.

· أما رحمة الربّ فمن الأزل وإلى الأبد على خائفيه.

· وبره على أبناء البنين الحافظين عهده والذاكرين وصاياه ليصنعوها.

· الرب هيأ في السماء عرشه، ومملكته تسود على الجميع .

· باركوا الرب، يا جميع ملائكته، المقتدرين بالقوة، العاملين بأمره عند سماع صوت كلامه.
