Tambi\u00e9n se le conoce en la herencia \u00e1rabe como \u201cYunus\u201d y por su apodo \u201cDhul-Nun\u201d. El Cor\u00e1n ha dedicado una sura a su nombre, que es la d\u00e9cima sura, y se le menciona en muchos versos separados. Las narraciones b\u00edblicas y cor\u00e1nicas son similares, especialmente cuando mencionan la ballena que se trag\u00f3 a Jon\u00e1s y luego el arrepentimiento del pueblo de N\u00ednive. Jon\u00e1s es de gran importancia en el Nuevo Testamento, ya que el Se\u00f1or Jes\u00fas consider\u00f3 la historia de la estancia de Jon\u00e1s durante tres d\u00edas y tres noches en el vientre de la ballena como una profec\u00eda sobre su propia estancia \u201cen el coraz\u00f3n de la tierra\u201d durante tres d\u00edas. y tres noches (Mateo 12: 39-41), despu\u00e9s de su crucifixi\u00f3n y esperando su resurrecci\u00f3n. La Iglesia Ortodoxa lo celebra el veintiuno de septiembre.<\/p>\n<p>  <!--more-->  <\/p>\n<p>La narraci\u00f3n cor\u00e1nica sobre el profeta Jon\u00e1s se distingue por su brevedad, ya que no entra en detalles al mencionar todos los detalles como en la narraci\u00f3n b\u00edblica. En Surah As-Saffat leemos: \u201cY de hecho, Yunus fue uno de los mensajeros. Mientras regresaba al arca cargada. \u00c9l aport\u00f3 y fue uno de los que lo refut\u00f3. La ballena lo mordi\u00f3 y qued\u00f3 afligido. Si no hubiera sido de los que glorifican a Dios, habr\u00eda permanecido en su est\u00f3mago hasta el d\u00eda de su resurrecci\u00f3n. As\u00ed que lo echamos a la intemperie mientras estaba enfermo. Y encima hicimos crecer un \u00e1rbol de calabaza. Se lo enviamos a cien mil o m\u00e1s. Entonces creyeron y les dimos placer por un tiempo\u201d (37: 139-148). Todas las interpretaciones coinciden en decir que Dios envi\u00f3 a Jon\u00e1s al pueblo de N\u00ednive, pero \u00e9l prefiri\u00f3 escapar (abqa escap\u00f3) al interior del arca llena de pasajeros y equipaje. Cuando los astr\u00f3nomos se enteraron de su haza\u00f1a, lo arrojaron al oc\u00e9ano y la ballena se lo trag\u00f3 mientras comet\u00eda aquello de lo que se le culpaba. Si no hubiera sido uno de los que frecuentemente mencionaban a Dios alabando a Dios a lo largo de su vida, habr\u00eda permanecido en el vientre de la ballena, enterrado all\u00ed hasta el D\u00eda de la Resurrecci\u00f3n. Entonces Dios respondi\u00f3 a la oraci\u00f3n de Jon\u00e1s y lo coloc\u00f3 en un lugar desprovisto de \u00e1rboles y plantas en la costa, y un \u00e1rbol creci\u00f3 sobre \u00e9l para darle sombra, una calabaza (una calabaza en la narraci\u00f3n b\u00edblica). Luego lo envi\u00f3 al pueblo de N\u00ednive quienes aceptaron el llamado al arrepentimiento, y Dios los recompens\u00f3 perdon\u00e1ndoles sus pecados anteriores y apartando Su ira de ellos.<\/p>\n<p>Las narraciones exeg\u00e9ticas detallan lo que el Cor\u00e1n pas\u00f3 por alto. Ibn Katheer al-Dimashqi (fallecido en 1372), en su libro \u201cHistorias de los Profetas\u201d, dice que Dios Todopoderoso envi\u00f3 una gran ballena y esta se la trag\u00f3, y Dios Todopoderoso le orden\u00f3 que no comiera su carne ni le rompiera los huesos, por lo que el la ballena lo tom\u00f3 y lo hizo navegar por todos los mares. En otra narraci\u00f3n, esa ballena fue tragada por otra ballena, m\u00e1s grande que ella. El narrador contin\u00faa diciendo que cuando Yunus se instal\u00f3 en el vientre de la ballena, pens\u00f3 que estaba muerta, as\u00ed que movi\u00f3 sus extremidades y ellas se movieron, y \u00e9l estaba vivo. Entonces se inclin\u00f3 ante Dios, postr\u00e1ndose, y dijo: \u201cOh Se\u00f1or... te he hecho un lugar de adoraci\u00f3n en un lugar donde nadie te ha adorado\u201d, considerando el vientre de la ballena como un lugar de adoraci\u00f3n para Dios. Uno de los hadices narra que Yunus, durante su terrible experiencia, escuch\u00f3 algo, por lo que Dios le revel\u00f3: \u201cEste es el tasbih de los animales marinos\u201d, por lo que \u00e9l, a su vez, lo elogi\u00f3. Entonces los \u00e1ngeles oyeron su alabanza y dijeron: \u00a1Oh Se\u00f1or nuestro, o\u00edmos una voz d\u00e9bil en tierra extra\u00f1a! Dijeron: \u00bfEl siervo justo, que os tra\u00eda buenas obras cada d\u00eda y cada noche? \u00c9l dijo: S\u00ed. Luego intercedieron por \u00e9l. Entonces Dios orden\u00f3 a la ballena que la arrojara a la costa.<\/p>\n<p>Y en Surat Al-Anbiya&#039; leemos: \u201cY Dhul-Nun, cuando se fue enojado, pens\u00f3 que no lo derrotar\u00edamos, as\u00ed que grit\u00f3 en la oscuridad: &#039;No hay m\u00e1s dios que T\u00fa. T\u00fa, ciertamente, yo he sido de los malhechores&#039;\u201d. Entonces le respondimos y lo salvamos de la angustia, y as\u00ed salvamos a los creyentes\u201d (21: 87-88). Los comentaristas coinciden en que las \u201ctinieblas\u201d mencionadas en el vers\u00edculo son tres tinieblas: la oscuridad de la noche, la oscuridad del mar y la oscuridad del vientre de la ballena. Lo que llama la atenci\u00f3n en estos dos vers\u00edculos es la respuesta de Dios al llamado de los creyentes a \u00c9l en tiempos de angustia. Como Jon\u00e1s, a quien Dios salv\u00f3 de su dolor y angustia, Dios tambi\u00e9n salva a los creyentes de su dolor si buscan ayuda de \u00c9l. Sin embargo, en el contexto de la historia de Yunus, encontramos a uno de los comentaristas citando un noble hadiz sobre la respuesta de Dios a las oraciones en tiempos de angustia, en el que se afirma la siguiente sabidur\u00eda: \u201cConoce a Dios en tiempos de prosperidad, y \u00c9l Te conocer\u00e9 en tiempos de dificultad\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>En cuanto al arrepentimiento del pueblo de N\u00ednive de la tierra de Mosul en Irak, leemos en la Sura Yunus: \u201cY si no hubiera habido un pueblo que creyera y su fe lo beneficiara, excepto el pueblo de Yunus cuando crey\u00f3. de ellos el tormento de la desgracia en la vida de este mundo y les dio disfrute por un tiempo\u201d (10:98). Los estudiosos de la interpretaci\u00f3n coinciden un\u00e1nimemente en que el pueblo de N\u00ednive no crey\u00f3 a Jon\u00e1s cuando vino a ellos con el llamado a la justicia, y hicieron o\u00eddos sordos para escucharlo, por lo que les prometi\u00f3 que les sobrevendr\u00eda el tormento. Sin embargo, Dios inyect\u00f3 en sus corazones arrepentimiento y arrepentimiento (regresando al camino recto), por lo que se arrepintieron y se vistieron de cilicio, suplic\u00e1ndole. Entonces Dios acept\u00f3 su arrepentimiento y les quit\u00f3 el tormento con Su misericordia y compasi\u00f3n. La mayor\u00eda de los comentaristas agregaron que esta fe del pueblo de N\u00ednive los beneficiar\u00e1 en la otra vida, salv\u00e1ndolos de la otra vida, as\u00ed como los salv\u00f3 del tormento terrenal.<\/p>\n<p>Hay un verso del poeta \u00e1rabe preisl\u00e1mico Umayyah ibn Abi Salt, quien algunos eruditos creen que era cristiano mientras que otros dec\u00edan que era una religi\u00f3n monote\u00edsta hanifi, en el que dice:<\/p>\n<p>Gracias a ti salvaste a Yunus de ser tan grande como una ballena.<\/p>\n<p>Esto significa que el nombre Yunus, que se acerca a la pronunciaci\u00f3n griega, era familiar en la Pen\u00ednsula Ar\u00e1biga. Incluso si los cristianos \u00e1rabes usaron el nombre en su pronunciaci\u00f3n habitual como \u201cJon\u00e1s\u201d en sus traducciones de la Santa Biblia, no se puede negar que en una era hist\u00f3rica anterior, y en la era actual, usaron el nombre en su pronunciaci\u00f3n \u00e1rabe. &quot;Jon\u00e1s&quot;.
