Cuando cumpli\u00f3 tres a\u00f1os qued\u00f3 hu\u00e9rfano de su madre, entonces su padre lo tom\u00f3 y lo llev\u00f3 a la ciudad santa de Jerusal\u00e9n, donde lo present\u00f3 a Dios y lo hizo nazareo para el servicio divino. As\u00ed lo recibi\u00f3 la Abadesa del Monasterio de Nuestra Se\u00f1ora Sant\u00edsima, y permaneci\u00f3 en sus brazos hasta su madurez. As\u00ed lo recibi\u00f3 el Sant\u00edsimo Padre Ces\u00e1reo y se ocup\u00f3 de su educaci\u00f3n. Como Anthemone era inteligente, de mente aguda e inclinado a citar conocimientos y ciencias, se dedic\u00f3 a estudiar y leer, destac\u00f3 en las ciencias modernas y religiosas, y se hizo prominente en sus parejas hasta que se le conoci\u00f3 como el \u201cL\u00edbano\u201d. Estudi\u00f3 \u00e1rabe, turco y persa de la mano de Sofronio de Halabi, el metropolitano de Acre, quien m\u00e1s tarde se convirti\u00f3 en patriarca de Jerusal\u00e9n, y se convirti\u00f3 en un genio y \u00fanico en su \u00e9poca.<\/p>\n<p>  <!--more-->  <\/p>\n<p>Fueron nombrados sacerdote, luego archimandrita y ministro de la Sede Patriarcal de Jerusal\u00e9n. La presidencia de la Escuela Patriarcal de Jerusal\u00e9n pas\u00f3 a su cargo. En el a\u00f1o 1774 d.C., fue ascendido al rango de sacerdote y se convirti\u00f3 en Metropolitano de la Di\u00f3cesis de Beit Shean.
