Entonces vendr\u00e1 el fin, cuando entregue el reino a Dios Padre, despu\u00e9s de haber destruido todo principado, potestad y potestad\u201d (1 Corintios 15:24). Los laicos son la Iglesia y el mundo. Por tanto, sin los laicos no habr\u00eda evangelizaci\u00f3n. Esto significa que no tiene sentido el grupo clerical ante la ausencia de laicos. En otras palabras, la Iglesia transforma el mundo en el Reino de Cristo, a trav\u00e9s del pueblo, porque a los sacerdotes les resulta imposible predicar.<\/p>\n<p>Para descubrir la importancia del sacerdocio real, citamos lo que escribi\u00f3 San Cirilo de Jerusal\u00e9n sobre el bautismo: \u201cAcordaos del Esp\u00edritu Santo, que en el momento del bautismo estar\u00e1 presente para sellar vuestras almas y daros el sello celestial con el cual los esp\u00edritus malignos tiemblan. El Esp\u00edritu Santo te apoyar\u00e1 en la lucha y ser\u00e1 el guardi\u00e1n y consolador de tu vida. \u00c9l velar\u00e1 por vosotros como vela por sus soldados\u201d (Homil\u00edas <span dir=\"ltr\">XVII<\/span> En el Esp\u00edritu Santo). Por tanto, todo creyente, sin excepci\u00f3n, es un soldado y un atleta. Estas palabras no s\u00f3lo se dicen en el seminario, sino que tambi\u00e9n se aplican a todos los laicos cristianos. Son palabras que pertenecen a todo aquel que nace de Dios en la pila bautismal. Por eso, las palabras del Se\u00f1or: \u201cId y aprended de todas las naciones, bautiz\u00e1ndolos...\u201d (Mateo 28:19-20), (Romanos 6:3), no son s\u00f3lo para los ap\u00f3stoles, ni est\u00e1n asignadas a s\u00f3lo a los seminaristas, porque la Iglesia ve el icono de Cristo en cada ser humano. Exige que todo ser humano sea un icono de Cristo, porque todo ser humano es creado a imagen de Cristo. Esto es lo que tambi\u00e9n trat\u00f3 de expresar San Macario cuando dijo: \u201cEl cristianismo es un gran misterio, comprended, pues, vuestra vocaci\u00f3n en la que sois llamados al honor real, a un elegido sublime, a un real sacerdocio y a una naci\u00f3n santa\u201d. El ap\u00f3stol Pablo no deja de record\u00e1rnoslo, diciendo: \u201cSean vuestros cuerpos en sacrificio vivo y en ofrenda\u2026\u201d (Romanos 12:1). Al respecto, dice tambi\u00e9n el gran Or\u00edgenes: \u201cLos que recibieron la unci\u00f3n se convirtieron en sacerdotes. Cada uno lleva dentro de s\u00ed un sacrificio, y \u00e9l mismo prende fuego al altar para que sea un sacrificio interminable. Si rechazara todo lo que ten\u00eda. Si cargaste la cruz de Cristo. Si entrego mi cuerpo para que lo quemen. Si pido el martirio, soy sacrificio sobre el altar de Dios, y por tanto soy sacerdote\u201d (<span dir=\"ltr\">Acogedor IX, sobre Lev\u00edtico<\/span>).<\/p>\n<p>San Gregorio Nacianceno contin\u00faa describiendo el estado sacerdotal diciendo: \u201cNadie participa en el sacrificio a menos que \u00e9l mismo se convierta en sacrificio\u201d.<span dir=\"ltr\">Oraci\u00f3n III<\/span>). Asimismo, San Juan Damasco dice en su discurso sobre la Virgen: \u201cOh unci\u00f3n derramada\u2026\u201d y contin\u00faa en su mismo art\u00edculo, y en su discurso sobre la humildad de Mar\u00eda, dice: \u201cEs un sacerdocio real\u201d ( Serm\u00f3n 2 sobre la Natividad del Se\u00f1or) (<span dir=\"ltr\">B 693: 96 pG<\/span>) Tambi\u00e9n escuchamos durante la Divina Liturgia: \u201cLo que ten\u00e9is de lo que ten\u00e9is, os lo ofrecemos por adelantado sobre todas las cosas y con respecto a todas las cosas\u201d. El significado de estas palabras vive fuera de los muros de la iglesia y en los detalles m\u00e1s peque\u00f1os de la vida diaria del creyente.
