(G\u00e1latas 1:1), ni por amor a la vanagloria, sino por amor a Dios Padre y a Jesucristo. Nos cautiv\u00f3 su gentileza, su silencio puede hacer mucho m\u00e1s que discursos pretenciosos... El obispo supervisa la administraci\u00f3n de todos los sacramentos de la iglesia: \u201cSin el obispo, ni el bautismo ni la fiesta del amor son admisibles\u201d (Salmo 8:2). \u201cLos hombres y mujeres que se casan deben tener su uni\u00f3n bajo la autoridad del obispo, para que el matrimonio sea conforme al Se\u00f1or y no seg\u00fan el deseo\u201d (Policarpo 5:2).<\/p>\n

San Ignacio aconseja a todo obispo: \u201cJustificad vuestra eminencia por vuestra gran actividad, f\u00edsica y espiritual, y prestad atenci\u00f3n a la unidad que trasciende todo bien. Soportad a todos como el Se\u00f1or os soporta a vosotros, y soportadlos con amor como vosotros. Dediquen su tiempo a oraciones constantes.
