Le proph\u00e8te Isa\u00efe est n\u00e9 vers 765 avant JC dans le royaume de Juda, dont la capitale \u00e9tait J\u00e9rusalem, \u00e0 l'\u00e9poque d'une intense rivalit\u00e9 entre celui-ci et le royaume d'Isra\u00ebl avec sa capitale, Samarie. Isa\u00efe a pr\u00each\u00e9 pendant 40 ans alors que les royaumes juifs et leurs voisins vivaient sous le poids de la peur des Assyriens, alors ma\u00eetres de l'Orient. Le royaume de Juda connaissait une p\u00e9riode de prosp\u00e9rit\u00e9 mat\u00e9rielle accompagn\u00e9e de d\u00e9cadence morale et de m\u00e9pris de la loi de Dieu, au point que la plupart des Juifs pratiquaient la magie et la sorcellerie et n\u00e9gligeaient l'adoration de Dieu, et ceux qui croyaient encore en Lui se contentaient avec une religiosit\u00e9 formelle : \u00ab Ils honorent Dieu des l\u00e8vres, mais leur c\u0153ur est loin de lui \u00bb (29\u00a0:\u00a013).<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
L'ann\u00e9e de la mort du roi Ozias (740), Isa\u00efe \u00e9tait dans le temple lorsqu'il \u00ab vit l'\u00c9ternel assis sur un tr\u00f4ne \u00e9lev\u00e9, entour\u00e9 de s\u00e9raphins, chantant : Saint, saint, saint est l'\u00c9ternel des arm\u00e9es \u00bb (6 :3). Alors les portes trembl\u00e8rent \u00e0 cause de leur bruit, et le temple se remplit de fum\u00e9e, et Isa\u00efe tomba. Sur la terre, disant : "Malheur \u00e0 moi ! Je suis d\u00e9truit, car je suis un homme aux l\u00e8vres impures, et je vis parmi un peuple aux l\u00e8vres impures, et mes yeux ont vu le roi, l\u2019\u00c9ternel des arm\u00e9es \u00bb (6\u00a0:\u00a05). Alors un ange vola vers lui avec un charbon ardent \u00e0 la main, qu'il prit avec des pinces sur l'autel et toucha la bouche d'Isa\u00efe avec, en disant : \u00ab Ceci a touch\u00e9 tes l\u00e8vres, et ton iniquit\u00e9 est \u00f4t\u00e9e et ton p\u00e9ch\u00e9 est pardonn\u00e9 \u00bb ( 6:7). Alors Isa\u00efe a r\u00e9pondu \u00e0 l\u2019appel du Seigneur et a commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 pr\u00eacher au peuple, l\u2019appelant \u00e0 revenir \u00e0 Dieu. Dieu.<\/p>\n
Isa\u00efe se maria peu de temps apr\u00e8s son appel et eut deux fils. Il donna au premier un nom indiquant les calamit\u00e9s \u00e0 venir, et au second un nom indiquant le reste du peuple qui deviendrait le noyau d'un nouveau peuple. Il pr\u00eacha d'abord au peuple de Samarie, puis s'installa \u00e0 J\u00e9rusalem, o\u00f9 il parla contre le peuple rebelle qui abandonna Dieu et sombra dans la corruption et l'idol\u00e2trie, et dit que Dieu ne tol\u00e9rerait plus leur hypocrisie. "Lavez-vous et purifiez-vous, et \u00e9loignez de mes yeux le mal de vos actes... Apprenez le bien et cherchez la v\u00e9rit\u00e9... Venez, raisonnons ensemble, dit le Seigneur. Si vos p\u00e9ch\u00e9s sont comme l'\u00e9carlate, ils sois blanc comme neige... Et si tu te rebelles, l'\u00e9p\u00e9e te d\u00e9vorera \u00bb (1\u00a0:\u00a016-18).<\/p>\n
Apr\u00e8s quelques ann\u00e9es, le roi d'Isra\u00ebl P\u00e9kah et le roi d'Aram Rezin d\u00e9clench\u00e8rent une guerre contre Achaz, roi de Jud\u00e9e, parce que celui-ci refusait de s'allier avec eux contre Tiglathlipser III, roi des Assyriens. Achaz se r\u00e9fugia alors. avec les Assyriens malgr\u00e9 les avertissements d'Isa\u00efe et son assurance que J\u00e9rusalem ne tomberait pas entre les mains des ennemis, le roi Achaz ne le crut donc pas (7\u00a0: 8). Alors Isa\u00efe pronon\u00e7a la proph\u00e9tie la plus claire sur la venue du Messie : \u00ab Le Seigneur lui-m\u00eame vous donnera un signe : Voici, la vierge deviendra enceinte et enfantera un fils, et elle lui donnera le nom d'Emmanuel \u00bb (7\u00a0:\u00a014). Isa\u00efe confirme ensuite que l'enfant si\u00e9gera sur le tr\u00f4ne de David, \u00ab car un enfant nous est n\u00e9... et la domination est sur son \u00e9paule... un Dieu puissant... le P\u00e8re du si\u00e8cle \u00e0 venir, le Prince de la Paix \u00bb (9\u00a0:\u00a05).<\/p>\n
Apr\u00e8s la chute du royaume du Nord, Isa\u00efe se retira jusqu'au d\u00e9but du r\u00e8gne du roi \u00c9z\u00e9chias (vers 713). A cette \u00e9poque, l\u2019\u00c9gypte poussa le royaume de Juda et les peuples voisins \u00e0 se soulever contre l\u2019Assyrie. Isa\u00efe a march\u00e9 nu et pieds nus pendant trois ans dans les rues de J\u00e9rusalem comme une proph\u00e9tie selon laquelle le peuple d'Isra\u00ebl marcherait ainsi s'il ne faisait pas confiance en Dieu (20\u00a0: 2-6). Apr\u00e8s la mort de Sargon II, roi des Assyriens (705) et l'accession au tr\u00f4ne de son fils Sennach\u00e9rib, de nombreuses nations se r\u00e9volt\u00e8rent contre lui \u00e0 l'instigation des Philistins et des Ph\u00e9niciens, et Ez\u00e9chias, roi de Jud\u00e9e, rejoignit l'alliance et Il ordonna les pr\u00e9paratifs de guerre, renfor\u00e7a les murs de J\u00e9rusalem et creusa un tunnel pour approvisionner la ville en eau. Ainsi Isa\u00efe a bl\u00e2m\u00e9 les Juifs pour la guerre au lieu de se repentir devant Dieu, et les a appel\u00e9s \u00e0 s'appuyer sur Lui au lieu de s'appuyer sur les promesses des dirigeants du monde, et personne n'a entendu les paroles du proph\u00e8te. Lorsque les arm\u00e9es de Sennach\u00e9rib arriv\u00e8rent et assi\u00e9g\u00e8rent J\u00e9rusalem (701), le roi \u00c9z\u00e9chias lui offrit tout l'or du temple en ran\u00e7on pour la ville, mais le roi assyrien n'\u00e9tait pas satisfait. Alors Isa\u00efe vint vers le roi et le peuple, les r\u00e9conforta et leur annon\u00e7a la bonne nouvelle que Dieu sauverait son peuple. Cette nuit-l\u00e0, l'ange du Seigneur frappa les soldats assyriens et les tua. Alors Sennach\u00e9rib rompit le si\u00e8ge et retourna \u00e0 Ninive. Ici se termina la mission du proph\u00e8te Isa\u00efe et il retourna \u00e0 son silence. On raconte qu'il fut tu\u00e9 par sciage sous le r\u00e8gne du roi Manass\u00e9 (687-642).<\/p>\n
Le livre d'Isa\u00efe se distingue des livres des autres proph\u00e8tes de l'Ancien Testament par la beaut\u00e9 de son expression po\u00e9tique et par les proph\u00e9ties pr\u00e9cises sur la venue du Christ. Il annonce la naissance du Sauveur de la Vierge, le Christ innocent du p\u00e9ch\u00e9, \u00ab un rameau du tronc de Jess\u00e9 \u00bb (c'est-\u00e0-dire de la lign\u00e9e de David...) (11, 6), par lequel la justice et la paix viendrait parmi le peuple : \u00ab Le loup habitera avec l'agneau, et un petit gar\u00e7on les conduira... Ils ne feront pas de mal. \u00bb Et ils ne semeront pas la corruption dans toute ma montagne sainte. \u00bb Le Sauveur est lui-m\u00eame \u00ab l\u2019humble serviteur \u00bb qui \u00ab ne crie ni n\u2019\u00e9l\u00e8ve la voix ; il ne brise pas un roseau froiss\u00e9, n\u2019\u00e9teint pas un lin fumant \u00bb (42\u00a0:\u00a02). Il s'offre \u00e0 l'humiliation et \u00e0 la mort pour le salut de son peuple : \u00ab M\u00e9pris\u00e9 et abandonn\u00e9 des hommes, homme de douleur et familier avec la douleur,... il a livr\u00e9 son dos aux frappeurs... et n'a pas cachez son visage des insultes et des crachats... il a support\u00e9 nos souffrances et a endur\u00e9 nos chagrins, et nous l'avons consid\u00e9r\u00e9 frapp\u00e9, frapp\u00e9 par Dieu et afflig\u00e9. Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 transperc\u00e9 pour nos transgressions et \u00e9cras\u00e9 pour nos iniquit\u00e9s, il a \u00e9t\u00e9 puni pour notre paix, et c'est par sa blessure que nous sommes gu\u00e9ris \u00bb (5\u00a0:6 ; 53\u00a0:3-5). Il a accompli la volont\u00e9 du P\u00e8re et s'est donn\u00e9 lui-m\u00eame en ran\u00e7on pour nous, \u00ab et \u00e0 cause du trouble de son \u00e2me, il a vu la lumi\u00e8re. \u00bb \u00ab Il s'est livr\u00e9 \u00e0 la mort et a \u00e9t\u00e9 compt\u00e9 parmi les transgresseurs, et il a port\u00e9 les p\u00e9ch\u00e9s. de beaucoup et il a interc\u00e9d\u00e9 pour leurs transgressions \u00bb (53\u00a0:\u00a011-12).<\/p>\n
Dans la premi\u00e8re partie du livre, Isa\u00efe mena\u00e7ait de ruine quiconque ferait confiance aux grands hommes du monde. Mais la deuxi\u00e8me section est appel\u00e9e le \u00ab Livre de consolation \u00bb, car elle annonce la r\u00e9conciliation entre Dieu et son peuple, et le renouveau de J\u00e9rusalem dans un royaume sans fin. \u00ab Soyez \u00e9clair\u00e9e, \u00f4 Nouvelle J\u00e9rusalem, car la gloire du Seigneur s'est lev\u00e9e sur vous \u00bb (60\u00a0:\u00a01). Et toutes les nations viendront vers la Nouvelle J\u00e9rusalem, c'est-\u00e0-dire l'\u00c9glise, et entreront dans la ville dont les portes ne sont pas ferm\u00e9es et qui n'est \u00e9clair\u00e9e ni par le soleil ni par la lune, parce que le Seigneur est sa lumi\u00e8re \u00e9ternelle, et tout Le juste du peuple que Dieu a rassembl\u00e9 y entrera. Le Seigneur se r\u00e9jouit d'eux et ils se r\u00e9jouissent en Lui dans la ville nouvelle o\u00f9 la mort est vaincue, et \u00ab Il console ceux qui pleurent et leur donne une couronne au lieu de la cendre, l'huile de joie au lieu du deuil et une robe de louange au lieu du deuil. un esprit de lassitude \u00bb (61\u00a0:\u00a03).<\/p>\n
Le proph\u00e8te Isa\u00efe a clairement pr\u00each\u00e9 la bonne nouvelle, c\u2019est pourquoi son livre s\u2019appelle \u00ab Le Cinqui\u00e8me \u00c9vangile \u00bb et il reste pour nous l\u2019une des sources de notre foi en Christ et de notre esp\u00e9rance dans le royaume \u00e0 venir. La Sainte \u00c9glise le c\u00e9l\u00e8bre le 9 mai. Il poss\u00e8de une ancienne \u00e9glise \u00e0 Broummana dont le b\u00e2timent actuel remonte au XVIe si\u00e8cle.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
