Il est venu dans un monast\u00e8re et ils l&#039;ont utilis\u00e9 comme assistant du cuisinier. On lui confiait les travaux de cuisine les plus laids, et en raison de sa simplicit\u00e9, il \u00e9tait l&#039;objet de moqueries et de moqueries. Il tol\u00e9rait le ridicule des autres et les rencontrait avec une modestie et une douceur in\u00e9branlables. Il arrivait qu&#039;un pr\u00eatre du monast\u00e8re priait Dieu de lui montrer les b\u00e9n\u00e9dictions qu&#039;il r\u00e9serve \u00e0 ceux qui l&#039;aiment. Une nuit, pendant que ce pr\u00eatre dormait, il lui sembla avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 transport\u00e9 en r\u00eave au paradis et d\u00e9pos\u00e9 dans un jardin plein des plus beaux arbres et des plus d\u00e9licieux fruits.<\/p>\n<p>  <!--more-->  <\/p>\n<p>Au milieu de ce jardin, Aphrosin se plaisait \u00e0 manger de ces b\u00e9n\u00e9dictions et \u00e0 se r\u00e9jouir avec les anges. Le pr\u00eatre s&#039;approcha de lui et lui demanda : \u00ab O\u00f9 sommes-nous ici, \u00f4 Afrosinus ? \u00bb Il r\u00e9pondit : C&#039;est la maison des \u00e9lus de Dieu, que tu as toujours voulu voir. Quant \u00e0 moi, je reste ici par la gr\u00e2ce de Dieu, qui a voulu me pardonner mes p\u00e9ch\u00e9s. Le pr\u00eatre lui dit : Puis-je emporter avec moi quelques fruits de ce jardin ? \u00ab . Oversinus prit trois pommes et les mit dans l&#039;habit du pr\u00eatre. A ce moment pr\u00e9cis, le pr\u00eatre fut r\u00e9veill\u00e9 de son sommeil par le son de la cloche l&#039;appelant \u00e0 la pri\u00e8re de l&#039;aube.<\/p>\n<p>Alors qu&#039;il secouait la poussi\u00e8re du sommeil de ses yeux, pensant qu&#039;il venait de sortir d&#039;un r\u00eave, il sentit qu&#039;il y avait quelque chose de lourd dans sa poche, alors il tendit la main et d\u00e9couvrit les trois pommes d\u00e9gageant un parfum comme celui-l\u00e0. il n&#039;avait jamais senti d&#039;odeur auparavant.<\/p>\n<p>Le pr\u00eatre se pr\u00e9cipita vers l&#039;\u00e9glise et vit Oversinus debout \u00e0 sa place habituelle. Il s&#039;approcha de lui et lui demanda o\u00f9 il \u00e9tait la nuit. Il lui dit : Dans le monast\u00e8re. Il insista jusqu&#039;\u00e0 ce qu&#039;il r\u00e9ponde : \u00ab J&#039;\u00e9tais dans le jardin o\u00f9 j&#039;ai vu les bonnes choses que Dieu r\u00e9serve \u00e0 ses \u00e9lus. Dieu a voulu te r\u00e9v\u00e9ler ce secret \u00e0 travers moi, l\u2019indigne. Le pr\u00eatre appela donc les fr\u00e8res moines et leur raconta son r\u00eave, Euphorsinus et les trois pommes, et il se mit \u00e0 le leur montrer. Tout le monde \u00e9tait distrait, regardant les pommes, les sentant et \u00e9coutant le cur\u00e9. Puis quelqu\u2019un a demand\u00e9 o\u00f9 se trouve Oversinus maintenant ? Ils l&#039;ont cherch\u00e9 mais ne l&#039;ont pas trouv\u00e9. Il \u00e9tait sorti secr\u00e8tement pour \u00e9chapper \u00e0 la gloire du peuple. Aucune trace de lui n\u2019a \u00e9t\u00e9 connue par la suite.<\/p>\n<p>L&#039;\u00e9glise le c\u00e9l\u00e8bre chaque ann\u00e9e le 11 septembre.<\/p>\n<p>Voici une pri\u00e8re avant de cuisiner :<\/p>\n<p>Gloire \u00e0 Toi, \u00f4 Dieu \u00e9ternel, Cr\u00e9ateur de toutes choses, avec Son amour et sa bont\u00e9. \u00d4 Celui qui nous accorde ces diverses b\u00e9n\u00e9dictions c\u00e9lestes et terrestres. Que chacun soit b\u00e9ni de ses abondantes b\u00e9n\u00e9dictions.
