Miller a commenc\u00e9 sa vie missionnaire en 1833 et, en 1844, il a fond\u00e9 le premier groupe qui, en 1860, a pris le nom d&#039;\u00c9glise \u00ab Adventiste du Septi\u00e8me Jour \u00bb comme nom officiel. De nombreuses personnes l&#039;ont suivi, dont la plus importante \u00e9tait Mme Ellen. C. White (1827-1915), qui organisa les conditions de ce groupe et \u00e9tablit ses lois. Il semble que les adventistes du septi\u00e8me jour la consid\u00e8rent comme une messag\u00e8re inspir\u00e9e, \u00e9quivalente aux \u00ab proph\u00e8tes de la Torah \u00bb, comme ils le disent : Le don de proph\u00e9tie s&#039;est manifest\u00e9 dans le minist\u00e8re de White. \u00ab Tels qu&#039;envoy\u00e9s par le Seigneur, ses \u00e9crits sont consid\u00e9r\u00e9e comme une source continue et fiable de v\u00e9rit\u00e9 qui fournit \u00e0 l\u2019\u00c9glise aide, direction, instruction et correction\u2026 \u00bb (Croyances fondamentales, 17) .<\/p>\n<p>  <!--more-->  <\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;Les adventistes du septi\u00e8me jour s\u2019appuient sur l\u2019organisation. Au sommet de la pyramide se trouve le \u00ab Symposium g\u00e9n\u00e9ral \u00bb, dirig\u00e9 par le chef d\u2019un comit\u00e9 bas\u00e9 \u00e0 Washington. Ils disent dans les \u00ab Doctrines de base \u00bb : \u00ab La cons\u00e9quence du p\u00e9ch\u00e9 est la mort. \u00bb Mais Dieu... accordera aux rachet\u00e9s la vie \u00e9ternelle. Jusqu\u2019\u00e0 ce jour, la mort est un \u00e9tat inconscient pour tous \u00bb (25, voir aussi : 26 ; et Ellen White, \u00ab The Great Struggle \u00bb, pp. 64 et 65). Ils appellent \u00e0 deux r\u00e9surrections, la premi\u00e8re pour les justes seulement, et la seconde est \u00ab la r\u00e9surrection des non-justes, qui aura lieu apr\u00e8s mille ans \u00bb. Il s&#039;agit sans doute d&#039;un m\u00e9lange de juda\u00efsme et d&#039;h\u00e9r\u00e9sies anciennes, suivi de douze sections du monde organis\u00e9es en unit\u00e9s, suivi de s\u00e9minaires, et enfin vient le groupe local ou \u00ab \u00e9glise \u00bb g\u00e9r\u00e9 par des pasteurs avec l&#039;aide du conseil. Ils se concentrent beaucoup sur les m\u00e9dias : ils poss\u00e8dent plusieurs maisons d&#039;\u00e9dition qui publient des p\u00e9riodiques, diffusent des programmes de radio dans le monde \u00e0 partir de plusieurs stations de radio qu&#039;ils poss\u00e8dent et organisent des cours d&#039;\u00e9vang\u00e9lisation par correspondance.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;On sait que les croyances des adventistes du septi\u00e8me jour ne sont pas fixes et varient selon les circonstances, et qu\u2019ils ont modifi\u00e9 bon nombre des enseignements qu\u2019ils avaient promulgu\u00e9s au d\u00e9but de leur \u00e9mergence. Dans cet article, nous nous int\u00e9ressons aux enseignements auxquels ils adh\u00e8rent et promeuvent encore, notamment\u00a0:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>1- Leur croyance que le Seigneur J\u00e9sus reviendra dans une courte p\u00e9riode qu&#039;ils pr\u00e9cisent<\/strong> (Nous lisons dans \u00ab Croyances fondamentales \u00bb : \u00ab L\u2019accomplissement complet de la plupart des lignes de proph\u00e9tie, combin\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tat actuel du monde, indique que la venue du Messie est imminente \u00bb 24.) Ce n&#039;est un secret pour personne que Miller a pr\u00e9dit \u00e0 plusieurs reprises le moment de la seconde venue du Seigneur, c&#039;est pourquoi il a sp\u00e9cifi\u00e9 l&#039;ann\u00e9e 1843 comme ann\u00e9e accompagnant son apparition. N&#039;ayant pas obtenu gain de cause, il a report\u00e9 la date d&#039;un an, puis est revenu et l&#039;a report\u00e9 d&#039;un an suppl\u00e9mentaire. Cela contredit certainement les Saintes \u00c9critures, qui appellent \u00e0 attendre le Jour du Seigneur avec vigilance et vigilance, sans pr\u00e9ciser son heure ni dire \u00ab d&#039;y veiller \u00bb (Marc 13 ; Luc 12\u00a0: 35-40 ; 21\u00a0: 5-36). ; Matthieu 24 et 25 ; Actes 1\u00a0:7 ; et 2 Thessaloniciens 2\u00a0:1-12).<\/li>\n<li>2<strong>- Consacrez-les le samedi au lieu du dimanche<\/strong> (Doctrines fondamentales, 19). Nous aborderons cela dans un article sp\u00e9cial... Il suffit de signaler ici quelques versets qui exposent leur d\u00e9viation, et montrent que le dimanche est le jour o\u00f9 les premiers chr\u00e9tiens se rassemblaient pour adorer Dieu (1 Corinthiens 16\u00a0: 1-2 ; Apocalypse 1\u00a0:\u00a09-11 ; voir aussi : Luc 24\u00a0:\u00a028-43 ; Jean 20\u00a0:\u00a019-26 ; Actes 2\u00a0:\u00a01-2, 20\u00a0:\u00a07,11).<\/li>\n<li><strong>3- On dit que tout dans le monde est mati\u00e8re et que l&#039;esprit ou l&#039;\u00e2me n&#039;a plus d&#039;existence apr\u00e8s la mort.<\/strong> Et les morts n&#039;ont aucun sentiment. Cela contredit l\u2019enseignement clair dans lequel le Seigneur affirmait que Dieu, le Dieu d\u2019Abraham, d\u2019Isaac et de Jacob, est \u00ab le Dieu des vivants et non le Dieu des morts \u00bb (Matthieu 22\u00a0:\u00a032\u00a0; voir ce que le Seigneur a dit \u00e0 le voleur : \u00ab Aujourd&#039;hui, tu seras avec moi au paradis \u00bb, Luc 23\u00a0:43 ; voir aussi Philippiens 1\u00a0:21,23 ; 1 Thessaloniciens 4\u00a0:14,17), et que la r\u00e9surrection g\u00e9n\u00e9rale est soudaine et ponctuelle, mais les justes et les saints seront emmen\u00e9s par le Seigneur \u00ab avec Lui \u00bb lorsqu&#039;Il appara\u00eetra, et les m\u00e9chants seront s\u00e9par\u00e9s de Lui dans le feu \u00e9ternel (voir Matthieu 25\u00a0:31-46 ; 1 Corinthiens 15...).<\/li>\n<li><strong>4- Leur rejet du bapt\u00eame des enfants,<\/strong> Leur bapt\u00eame est r\u00e9serv\u00e9 aux adultes et ils exigent qu\u2019il soit \u00ab pr\u00e9c\u00e9d\u00e9 de l\u2019apprentissage de la Bible et de l\u2019acceptation de ses enseignements \u00bb (Croyances fondamentales, p. 14). Ils disent dans leur livre : \u00ab La foi adventiste du septi\u00e8me jour \u00bb : \u00ab Les nourrissons et les jeunes enfants ne sont pas pr\u00e9par\u00e9s au bapt\u00eame parce qu\u2019ils ne peuvent pas choisir la r\u00e9g\u00e9n\u00e9ration (c\u2019est-\u00e0-dire l\u2019apprentissage et la repentance) \u00bb (page 325). Il s\u2019agit d\u2019un oubli majeur qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 abord\u00e9 dans \u00ab Ma paroisse \u00bb (3\/1997), car le bapt\u00eame des enfants ne pr\u00e9suppose pas l\u2019apprentissage ou la repentance, car il est construit sur le salut de Dieu, qu\u2019Il a accord\u00e9 gratuitement \u00e0 toute personne n\u00e9e dans le monde.<\/li>\n<li><strong>5- Ils c\u00e9l\u00e8brent le souper d&#039;action de gr\u00e2ce (le secret; ils le consid\u00e8rent comme symbolique) apr\u00e8s avoir lav\u00e9 les pieds<\/strong> (Croyances fondamentales, 15), une fois tous les trois mois. Nous lisons dans leur livre \u00ab La foi des adventistes du septi\u00e8me jour \u00bb : \u00ab La Bible ne pr\u00e9cise pas combien de fois la C\u00e8ne du Seigneur doit \u00eatre c\u00e9l\u00e9br\u00e9e... Les adventistes ont suivi la pratique de nombreux protestants consistant \u00e0 c\u00e9l\u00e9brer cette obligation divine quatre fois par an. \u2026 \u00bb Il leur semble que : \u00ab Le Plan quadriennal est un compromis entre une c\u00e9l\u00e9bration \u00e0 long terme, comme une fois par an par exemple \u00bb (voir note en bas de page n\u00b0 19, page 349 ; et ce n&#039;est un secret pour personne que leur proph\u00e8te, Ellen White, dans son livre susmentionn\u00e9, appelle le sacrifice de la messe \u00ab le sacrifice pa\u00efen \u00bb, page 65). Il s&#039;agit d&#039;une distorsion de l&#039;h\u00e9ritage, car les premiers chr\u00e9tiens avaient l&#039;habitude de se rassembler, surtout chaque dimanche, pour manger le vrai corps et le vrai sang du Seigneur (Actes 2\u00a0:42 ; 1 Corinthiens 11\u00a0:17-34...), et parmi eux ce que dit \u00e0 ce propos saint Basile le Grand : \u00ab Nous mangeons quatre fois par jour... \u00ab Une semaine - pas un an - et nous pensons que c&#039;est peu. \u00bb<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;Les erreurs de ces chiites ne s&#039;arr\u00eatent pas l\u00e0, car leurs nombreuses d\u00e9viations sont trop \u00e9troites pour \u00eatre mentionn\u00e9es ici - notamment : ils s&#039;abstiennent \u00ab des aliments impurs sp\u00e9cifi\u00e9s dans la Bible \u00bb (et ils s&#039;appuient sur L\u00e9vitique 11 et Deut\u00e9ronome 14), ce qui contredit les d\u00e9cisions des ap\u00f4tres au Concile de J\u00e9rusalem (Actes 15\u00a0:5-21) ; Voir aussi : Romains 14\u00a0:14-17 ; Tite 1:15 et 16 ; 1 Timoth\u00e9e 4:1-5); Ils consid\u00e8rent que ceux qui seront sauv\u00e9s lorsque le Seigneur reviendra sont 144 mille (voir : \u00ab La foi adventiste du septi\u00e8me jour \u00bb, note de bas de page n\u00b0 3, page 635), et \u00e0 leur avis, ils observent le sabbat ; Ils pr\u00e9tendent qu&#039;eux seuls ont re\u00e7u le don de proph\u00e9tie, et qu&#039;ils sont les enseignants du monde, et qu&#039;ils ont appel\u00e9 \u00e0 un avertissement au monde, et que personne \u00e0 part eux ne vit dans l&#039;esprit en ce temps... est un orgueil vide qui contredit la v\u00e9rit\u00e9 et ne m\u00e9rite pas de r\u00e9ponse... Ces d\u00e9viations, et d&#039;autres, montrent que ceux qui ont pr\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9 la \u00ab Sola Scriptura seule \u00bb et ont construit leurs doctrines sur les ruines des h\u00e9r\u00e9sies et des h\u00e9r\u00e9sies apparues dans l&#039;histoire et ont \u00e9t\u00e9 condamn\u00e9s par l&#039;\u00c9glise. Ils contredisent la v\u00e9rit\u00e9 d\u00e9clar\u00e9e par ce livre. Ce n\u2019est un secret pour personne que tout \u00ab \u00e9difice spirituel \u00bb ne peut s\u2019\u00e9lever sans cesse s\u2019il n\u2019est pas fond\u00e9 sur la v\u00e9rit\u00e9 de J\u00e9sus exprim\u00e9e dans la foi orthodoxe.
