Il l&#039;a cr\u00e9\u00e9 ; il les a cr\u00e9\u00e9s m\u00e2le et femelle \u00bb (1\u00a0:\u00a026-31). La m\u00eame d\u00e9claration appara\u00eet \u00e9galement dans d&#039;autres livres : \u00ab Car Dieu a cr\u00e9\u00e9 l&#039;homme immortel et l&#039;a fait \u00e0 son image. soi divin \u00bb (2\u00a0:\u00a023). Dans le Nouveau Testament, l&#039;ap\u00f4tre Paul met l&#039;accent sur l&#039;id\u00e9e de l&#039;homme comme image de Dieu dans le contexte de ses paroles sur le bapt\u00eame en tant que nouvelle cr\u00e9ation. Il dit : \u00ab Et vous avez rev\u00eatu l&#039;homme nouveau, celui qui est. renouvel\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019image de son Cr\u00e9ateur pour atteindre la connaissance \u00bb (Colossiens 3\u00a0:10). Le Nouveau Testament fait r\u00e9f\u00e9rence dans de nombreux passages au Christ comme \u00ab l\u2019image du Dieu invisible \u00bb (Colossiens 1\u00a0:5), \u00ab l\u2019image de Dieu \u00bb (2 Corinthiens 4\u00a0:4) et \u00ab le rayonnement de sa gloire et l\u2019image de Dieu \u00bb. sa personne \u00bb (H\u00e9breux 1\u00a0:\u00a03).<\/p>\n<p>  <!--more-->  <\/p>\n<p>Tous les P\u00e8res de l&#039;\u00c9glise se sont pench\u00e9s sur l&#039;interpr\u00e9tation de la question de l&#039;homme cr\u00e9\u00e9 \u00e0 l&#039;image et \u00e0 la ressemblance de Dieu, et ils ont vu dans le verset contenu dans le livre de la Gen\u00e8se une invitation adress\u00e9e \u00e0 l&#039;homme \u00e0 jouer son r\u00f4le dans le monde sur plusieurs fronts. niveaux, dont le plus important est que l\u2019homme est le roi et le pr\u00eatre de tous les \u00eatres vivants. Dieu a confi\u00e9 \u00e0 l&#039;homme deux t\u00e2ches : peupler la terre et \u00e9lever vers Dieu la louange de toute la cr\u00e9ation.<\/p>\n<p>Saint Jean Chrysostome a clairement d\u00e9clar\u00e9 dans son interpr\u00e9tation du verset sur la cr\u00e9ation : \u00ab Dieu nous a donn\u00e9 une premi\u00e8re b\u00e9n\u00e9diction lorsqu&#039;il a cr\u00e9\u00e9 l&#039;homme seul \u00e0 son image, puis (la seconde b\u00e9n\u00e9diction) il l&#039;a accord\u00e9e aux cr\u00e9atures, non en r\u00e9compense de ses travaux, mais de l\u2019abondance de sa gr\u00e2ce et de son amour pour l\u2019humanit\u00e9. Quant \u00e0 saint Basile le Grand, il dit : \u00ab \u00d4 homme, tu es un \u00eatre vivant, cr\u00e9\u00e9 pour commander. Car partout o\u00f9 il y a le pouvoir de commander et d\u2019interdire, l\u2019image de Dieu r\u00e9side aussi. Saint Gr\u00e9goire de Nysse penche dans le m\u00eame sens lorsqu&#039;il note que \u00ab l&#039;homme se tient debout, droit vers le ciel et regarde vers le haut. &quot;C&#039;est la position du chef commandant, et c&#039;est une preuve de sa dignit\u00e9 royale.&quot;<\/p>\n<p>La cr\u00e9ation par Dieu de l&#039;homme \u00e0 son image et \u00e0 sa ressemblance signifie \u00e9galement que Dieu a rendu tous les \u00eatres humains \u00e9gaux et appel\u00e9s \u00e0 r\u00e9aliser l&#039;unit\u00e9 humaine. Sainte Nysse dit que l&#039;expression \u00ab Dieu a cr\u00e9\u00e9 l&#039;homme profite au genre humain tout entier \u00bb et ajoute : \u00ab L&#039;image de Dieu n&#039;est en aucune partie de cette nature, car le genre humain tout entier jouit de cette caract\u00e9ristique : elle est \u00e0 l&#039;image de Dieu. .\u00bb Ici, les paroles de saint Gr\u00e9goire s&#039;inscrivent dans le cadre de la tradition eccl\u00e9siale qui met l&#039;accent sur l&#039;\u00e9galit\u00e9 compl\u00e8te entre tous les \u00eatres humains, sans aucune discrimination raciale, m\u00eame de genre, car la distinction entre \u00ab homme et femme \u00bb, entre \u00ab homme et femme \u00bb, ne ne se produit que dans les derni\u00e8res \u00e9tapes de la Cr\u00e9ation, apr\u00e8s que \u00ab Dieu a cr\u00e9\u00e9 l\u2019homme \u00e0 son image \u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>Les P\u00e8res conviennent \u00e9galement que l&#039;image de Dieu est ce qui distingue l&#039;homme de toutes les autres cr\u00e9atures. Il s\u2019agit donc de la capacit\u00e9 de \u00ab penser, de percevoir et d\u2019autres caract\u00e9ristiques, y compris la capacit\u00e9 de donner des ordres, l\u2019ind\u00e9pendance et la capacit\u00e9 d\u2019autod\u00e9termination et de volont\u00e9 \u00bb, et tout cela peut \u00eatre r\u00e9sum\u00e9 en une seule phrase\u00a0: \u00ab libert\u00e9 humaine \u00bb. C&#039;est une \u00e9galit\u00e9 radicale entre des hommes qui sont tous dou\u00e9s de raison et de libert\u00e9, et qui appartiennent \u00e0 une nature commune, dans laquelle chaque individu se distingue des autres. Cette distinction ne nie pas l\u2019unit\u00e9 humaine, mais la confirme plut\u00f4t dans la diversit\u00e9 au sein de l\u2019unit\u00e9, et il n\u2019y a l\u00e0 aucune contradiction. L&#039;unit\u00e9 humaine, comme un seul corps, n&#039;est pas globale et r\u00e9duit les individus, c&#039;est plut\u00f4t une communion sans s\u00e9paration ni m\u00e9lange entre des personnes qui partagent une m\u00eame nature, des personnes qui constituent une communion \u00e0 l&#039;image du P\u00e8re, du Fils et du Saint-Esprit. , qui sont trois personnes et une \u00e0 la fois.<\/p>\n<p>Saint Ir\u00e9n\u00e9e, et apr\u00e8s lui tous les p\u00e8res, ont vu que l&#039;homme a \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9 \u00e0 l&#039;image de Dieu, tandis que l&#039;exemple de Dieu repr\u00e9sente la perfection ultime que l&#039;homme doit atteindre, car la r\u00e9alisation de l&#039;id\u00e9al est le fruit de la volont\u00e9 humaine en harmonie avec la volont\u00e9 divine. . Saint Basile dit \u00e0 ce propos : \u00ab Dans notre structure premi\u00e8re, nous naissons \u00e0 l&#039;image de Dieu, et par notre volont\u00e9 nous imitons Dieu, nous devenons semblables \u00e0 Lui. \u00bb C&#039;est ce que dit aussi saint Chrysostome : \u00ab L&#039;image signifie l&#039;image du pouvoir, et l&#039;exemple v\u00e9hicule l&#039;id\u00e9e de vertu. Le r\u00e9sultat est que nous devons, autant que cela est possible pour la nature humaine cr\u00e9\u00e9e, imiter Dieu, avec sa patience et sa mod\u00e9ration. Bref, en pratiquant toutes les vertus. Quant \u00e0 saint Basile, il dit : \u00ab Vous deviendrez comme lui si vous acqu\u00e9rez la bont\u00e9 (...) Rien n&#039;indique la proximit\u00e9 d&#039;une personne avec Dieu si ce n&#039;est sa capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 faire le bien. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Quand Orig\u00e8ne a interpr\u00e9t\u00e9 le texte de la Gen\u00e8se, il a not\u00e9 que l\u2019homme \u00ab a \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9 uniquement \u00e0 l\u2019image de Dieu \u00bb et qu\u2019il n\u2019est pas \u00ab l\u2019image de Dieu \u00bb. L\u2019homme n\u2019est qu\u2019une image de l\u2019image du Dieu invisible, c\u2019est-\u00e0-dire l\u2019image de son Fils unique, J\u00e9sus-Christ. Orig\u00e8ne nous appelle donc \u00e0 devenir comme le Seigneur Christ, jusqu\u2019\u00e0 atteindre l\u2019exemple : \u00ab Car \u00e0 l\u2019image du Christ l\u2019homme a \u00e9t\u00e9 fait. Fixons donc toujours notre regard sur cette image de Dieu, afin de lui ressembler \u00e0 nouveau. \u00bb Si nous avons \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9s \u00e0 l\u2019image de Dieu, alors nous sommes cr\u00e9\u00e9s \u00e0 \u00ab l\u2019image du Fils \u00bb et par Lui nous sommes appel\u00e9s \u00e0 devenir \u00ab fils de Dieu \u00bb. L&#039;homme est aussi appel\u00e9 \u00e0 se d\u00e9ifier par la gr\u00e2ce, et \u00e0 ce propos saint Maxime le Confesseur dit : \u00ab Dieu nous a cr\u00e9\u00e9s pour participer \u00e0 sa nature divine, et pour que nous ayons part \u00e0 son immortalit\u00e9, \u00e0 son \u00e9ternit\u00e9, et pour appara\u00eetre semblable \u00e0 Lui dans cette d\u00e9ification r\u00e9sultant de la gr\u00e2ce.<\/p>\n<p>L&#039;homme n&#039;aurait pas pu atteindre cette gloire sans l&#039;incarnation du Seigneur Christ, qui, parce qu&#039;il \u00e9tait fils, nous a fait fils, et parce qu&#039;il \u00e9tait dieu, nous a permis de devenir des dieux par gr\u00e2ce, et parce qu&#039;il \u00e9tait l&#039;image et l&#039;exemple, il nous est devenu possible d&#039;atteindre l&#039;exemple. Nous terminons par une d\u00e9claration de saint Maxime dans laquelle il explique : \u00ab L&#039;incarnation de Dieu dans l&#039;homme a fait de l&#039;homme un dieu, tout comme Dieu lui-m\u00eame est devenu homme. Cette incarnation est la raison principale qui nous appelle \u00e0 avoir confiance dans l&#039;esp\u00e9rance de la d\u00e9ification. de la nature humaine. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">Extrait de
