{"id":2412,"date":"2010-06-11T22:06:12","date_gmt":"2010-06-11T22:06:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/orthodoxonline.org\/theology\/orthodox-library\/biblical-studies-orthodox-library\/entrance-to-the-holy-bible\/part-i-chapter-iii-how-should-we-read-the-bible\/"},"modified":"2010-06-11T22:06:12","modified_gmt":"2010-06-11T22:06:12","slug":"part-i-chapter-iii-how-should-we-read-the-bible","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.orthodoxonline.org\/theology\/it\/orthodox-library\/orthodox-biblical-studies\/entrance-to-the-holy-bible\/part-i-chapter-iii-how-should-we-read-the-bible\/","title":{"rendered":"Parte prima: Capitolo tre: Come dovrebbe essere letto il libro"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Primo: il nostro obiettivo nella lettura del libro: <\/strong>Finch\u00e9 leggere un libro \u00e8 leggere, il suo obiettivo immediato \u00e8:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Accedere alla Parola di Dio e comunicare con essa per conoscerla e apprenderla.<\/li>\n<li>Nel complesso, leggo seriamente e presto attenzione a ci\u00f2 che leggo <strong>E cercare di capirlo con la ragione<\/strong> Entrare nel suo significato, ma questo non \u00e8 affatto sufficiente.<\/li>\n<li>Qui inizia il vero obiettivo della lettura del libro: <strong>Rappresentazione del discorso<\/strong>Il nostro ingresso in esso e il suo ingresso in noi. Se stai leggendo<strong> <\/strong>Il libro qui trascende tutte le altre letture, addirittura rafforzandole. Leggendo il libro entriamo in un processo di unione e comunione con la parola del Dio vivente. Da ci\u00f2 concludiamo tre risultati:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>   <!--more-->  <\/p>\n<p>Leggere il libro \u00e8 innanzitutto... <strong>L&#039;atto di maneggiare<\/strong>. Questa comunione differisce dal sacramento della comunione al corpo e al sangue del Signore, ma \u00e8 comunione con la Parola stessa sotto un&#039;altra forma: attraverso i sensi esterni e poi la mente. Ma \u00e8 maneggiabile. \u00c8 un \u201csemi-segreto\u201d, che richiede da noi un atteggiamento interiore di fede, riverenza e aspettativa. Poi ti alzi <strong>Rapporto dal vivo <\/strong>Tra noi e la parola di Dio, la parola ci condanna. Di solito giudichiamo ci\u00f2 che leggiamo, ma nella lettura della Bibbia \u00e8 la parola di Dio che ci giudica: ci rimprovera o ci chiama, ci consola o ci rafforza, ci affascina o a volte ci respinge. \u00c8 un discorso vivo. Quindi mi rivedo nel libro. Mi vedo come Dio vuole che io sia e non come sono nei miei peccati e nelle mie debolezze: \u00e8 una lettura unica e strana. Poi, dopo la lettura diretta ed esterna, dobbiamo proseguire con questa lettura ed estenderla ad una rappresentazione centrale, interna, di cui spesso non siamo consapevoli. Conosciamo tutti il brano del Vangelo di Matteo in cui il Signore Ges\u00f9 risponde a Satana dicendo: \u201cNon di solo pane vive l\u2019uomo, ma di ogni parola che esce dalla bocca di Dio\u201d. E&#039; la parola di Dio allora <strong>cibo<\/strong>. Il cibo non ci sostiene n\u00e9 ci nutre a meno che non lo mangiamo, lo mastichiamo e lo digeriamo, e questo \u00e8 il caso delle parole di Dio. Prima lo mangiamo, poi lo mastichiamo, lo lasciamo entrare in noi, poi lo digeriamo, cio\u00e8 rimaniamo con le parole che abbiamo mangiato per un certo periodo di tempo, senza dimenticarle. In questa rappresentazione sta il vero senso della lettura del libro, altrimenti ci rimarrebbero parole profonde, non parole di vita.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Secondo: come arriviamo a leggere il libro?<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p>Dobbiamo essere in atteggiamento di preghiera mentre leggiamo il libro. A questo scopo, prima di cominciare a leggere, diciamo una piccola preghiera. Sant\u2019Isacco il Siro raccomanda la seguente preghiera: \u201cO Signore, fammi sentire la potenza del tuo libro\u201d. La preghiera che il sacerdote dice di nascosto prima di recitare il capitolo evangelico nella Divina Messa contiene esattamente la situazione necessaria: \u00abRisplendi nei nostri cuori la luce pura della tua conoscenza divina e apri gli occhi della nostra mente per comprendere gli insegnamenti del tuo Luogo evangelico in noi il timore dei tuoi santi comandamenti affinch\u00e9, calpestando tutti i desideri carnali, ci comporteremo spiritualmente e penseremo a tutte le cose, facciamo tutto ci\u00f2 che ti piace perch\u00e9 sei l&#039;illuminazione delle nostre anime e dei nostri corpi...\u201d Dobbiamo avere il desiderio di piacere solo al Signore, altrimenti la Parola non arriver\u00e0 al nostro cuore. Poi la posizione di preghiera deve essere mantenuta anche durante la lettura, e infine la lettura deve essere conclusa con una preghiera di ringraziamento.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Terzo: lettura frequente<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p>Non finiremo mai di leggere il libro. In ogni fase della nostra vita ci d\u00e0 un nuovo significato. Perch\u00e9 la stessa Parola che opera in noi attraverso i sacramenti della Chiesa o attraverso l\u2019obbedienza ai comandamenti del Signore ci rende, dopo ogni lettura, sensibili a una nuova visita del Signore. Dobbiamo, quindi, ogni volta chiedere di ricevere un significato nuovo delle parole di Dio: un volto nuovo, un&#039;altra misura del mistero che penetra la nostra anima con nuova grazia, con nuova gioia o nuovo rimpianto. Dobbiamo chiedere di avere parole vive che rinnovino le nostre anime cos\u00ec come rinnovarono il popolo di Israele in ogni tappa della sua storia. Le tappe della storia dei figli d&#039;Israele sono un disegno delle tappe della vita della Chiesa e della vita dell&#039;anima insieme. Un solo contatto non \u00e8 sufficiente per stabilire l&#039;anima in Dio. Mos\u00e8, il Verbo di Dio, spezz\u00f2 le due tavole dei comandamenti e poi le rifece. Dobbiamo farlo sempre di nuovo. Una generazione passa e un&#039;altra generazione la segue: c&#039;\u00e8 un vecchio essere umano tra noi che deve morire. Trascorriamo quarant&#039;anni nel deserto (il numero 40 \u00e8 simbolo di ascesi e pentimento) e poi entriamo nella Terra Promessa: \u00e8 una nuova generazione, cio\u00e8 nuove idee migliori della prima, e dopo tante battaglie arriva stabilit\u00e0: l\u2019era di Davide, l\u2019amato del Signore, e l\u2019era di Salomone. \u00c8 la pace che arriva alle nostre anime in uno stadio migliore. Ma Salomone si rivolse alle sue ancelle: ci piombarono addosso le prove e perdemmo la pace. Poi vengono i profeti e ci rimproverano, ma ci dicono anche che Dio non cambia le sue promesse. Infine, il piccolo resto eredita il regno, ma non \u00e8 un regno terreno. Dio incarnato \u00e8 un servitore della sofferenza. Quindi, ci\u00f2 che \u00e8 accaduto nella storia sacra, sta accadendo a noi nella realt\u00e0. Con questo atteggiamento e questa preparazione dobbiamo leggere il libro. \u00c8 una conversione continua alla luce della Bibbia, cio\u00e8 un costante rinnovamento della mente: \u00abRinnova la tua
