Nell&#039;anno 306, Pietro, il suo vescovo, scrisse un trattato su come accettare gli ingrati, ma Melezio, vescovo di Asyut, gli si oppose: \u201cIl suo discorso port\u00f2 all&#039;assurdit\u00e0 delle opinioni e al disaccordo, anche se aveva perseguitato i pagani e prima adoravano i loro idoli\u201d. Poi la gravit\u00e0 della persecuzione si intensific\u00f2 e Pietro si nascose, cos\u00ec Melezio inizi\u00f2 a sollevare la questione del pentimento e os\u00f2 ordinare sacerdoti e clero in assenza di vescovi e in diocesi diverse dalla sua. Ha rimproverato quattro vescovi che erano stati arrestati e che aspettavano il martirio per questa azione. Pietro lo interruppe e lo scomunic\u00f2. Pietro ricevette la corona del martirio nell&#039;autunno del 311. Gli succedette per pochi mesi Achilla, poi Alessandro. I due tentarono di affrontare la questione di Melezio, ma non ci riuscirono. Un sacerdote di nome Kolothos os\u00f2 ordinare sacerdoti e diaconi. Nella Chiesa d&#039;Egitto scoppiarono dissensi e i vescovi si scambiarono la scomunica. Poi un altro sacerdote di nome Ario os\u00f2 attaccare il vescovo di Alessandria, e fu una discussione che port\u00f2 ad una grande spaccatura nelle chiese d&#039;Oriente che dur\u00f2 a lungo.<\/p>\n<p>  <!--more-->  <\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Ario:<\/span><\/strong> (256-335). Non sappiamo quasi nulla di Ario prima che si ribellasse ad Alessandro, vescovo di Alessandria. La maggior parte di ci\u00f2 che sappiamo \u00e8 che era libico di nascita e origine, e che era una madre ad Alessandria, aveva studiato l\u00ec e si era unito a Melezio quando si ribell\u00f2 a Pietro. Poi si ritir\u00f2 e divenne diacono. Poi critic\u00f2 il suo capo riguardo al pentimento degli ingrati, e venne tagliato fuori. Cerc\u00f2 rifugio presso Achilla e lo ordin\u00f2 sacerdote. Allora Alexandros si fid\u00f2 di lui e lo rese servitore della chiesa di Falks.<\/p>\n<p>Ario sembrava essere un asceta, uno studioso ascetico, bravo nella predicazione e nella guida. Attorno a lui si radunarono un gran numero di credenti, soprattutto le vergini di Alessandria, che si dedicarono alle buone opere, e divennero l&#039;orgoglio della Chiesa d&#039;Egitto. A questi si unirono un gran numero di ecclesiastici che trovavano nella sua predicazione nutrimento per le anime, per cui preferirono ascoltarlo nonostante il disaccordo di insegnamento tra lui e il vescovo, capo della chiesa.<\/p>\n<p>Ario Luciano, l&#039;insegnante antiocheno, acconsent\u00ec e prese da lui. Forse l&#039;ha studiato, ma non sappiamo esattamente e in modo completamente chiaro cosa abbia insegnato Luciano. Inoltre, degli insegnamenti di Ario rimangono solo pochi estratti, inclusi in alcune delle \u201crisposte\u201d a lui inviate! Soprattutto quanto ha scritto sant&#039;Atanasio il Grande e quanto riportato da sant&#039;Ambrogio.<\/p>\n<p>Ci\u00f2 che si pu\u00f2 dire della dottrina di Ario \u00e8 che si trattava di un nuovo tentativo di confermare l&#039;unit\u00e0 del Padre e di sminuire lo status del Figlio e dello Spirito Santo.<\/p>\n<p>Agli occhi di Ario, solo il Padre meritava il titolo di Dio. Quanto al Figlio, non era altro che un Dio secondario, creato dal nulla per volont\u00e0 del Padre. Tuttavia, Egli si distingueva da tutte le altre creature in quanto era essenzialmente l\u2019immagine del Padre, Ousia, la Sua volont\u00e0, la Sua potenza e la Sua gloria. Secondo Ario, la Trinit\u00e0 \u00e8 composta da tre ipostasi, ma non sono una se non per accordo delle volont\u00e0.<\/p>\n<p>Ci\u00f2 che lo storico Sozomene pensava di Ario era che fosse un
