\"Efxandius,O pai de Efxandius era um crist\u00e3o persa que fugiu para a S\u00edria no ano 360 devido \u00e0 persegui\u00e7\u00e3o de Sapor, rei dos persas. L\u00e1 ele se casou com uma mulher crist\u00e3 e tiveram um filho a quem deram o nome de Efxandius, que estava crescendo com as b\u00ean\u00e7\u00e3os de Deus. Aos vinte anos, foi a Constantinopla visitar o tio, oficial do ex\u00e9rcito do imperador, e quando l\u00e1 chegou, o tio j\u00e1 havia morrido. Apesar disso, ele permaneceu na cidade. Na Calced\u00f4nia, sua fama se espalhou e as pessoas se aglomeraram para ouvir seus conselhos e receber cura. Acredita-se que ele foi ordenado sacerdote na Calced\u00f4nia.<\/p>\n
