O Alcor\u00e3o nega a crucifica\u00e7\u00e3o de Cristo: \u201cEles n\u00e3o o mataram, nem o crucificaram, mas isso lhes foi feito parecer\u201d (An-Nisa, 157), enquanto a f\u00e9 crist\u00e3 se baseia na realidade da morte de Cristo na cruz e em sua ressurrei\u00e7\u00e3o para a salva\u00e7\u00e3o da humanidade. Como os crist\u00e3os \u00e1rabes abordaram esse tema para afirmar...<\/p>\n<p>  <!--more-->  <\/p>\n<p>A f\u00e9 deles e a refuta\u00e7\u00e3o das acusa\u00e7\u00f5es feitas contra eles?<\/p>\n<p>Em resposta a uma pergunta do califa ab\u00e1ssida al-Mahdi sobre por que os crist\u00e3os se prostram diante da cruz, o Cat\u00f3lico Tim\u00f3teo (+823) disse: \u201cProstramo-nos diante da cruz porque ela \u00e9 a causa da vida\u201d. O califa prosseguiu: \u201dA cruz n\u00e3o \u00e9 a causa da vida, mas a causa da morte\u201c. O Cat\u00f3lico respondeu: \u201dA cruz \u00e9, de fato, a causa da morte, como eu disse. Mas a morte \u00e9 a causa da ressurrei\u00e7\u00e3o, que \u00e9 a causa da vida e da imortalidade. Portanto, a cruz \u00e9 a causa da vida e da imortalidade. \u00c9 por isso que, por meio dela, oferecemos nossa prostra\u00e7\u00e3o a Deus Todo-Poderoso, que abriu para n\u00f3s a fonte da vida e da imortalidade\u201c.<\/p>\n<p>Ammar al-Basri (um escritor crist\u00e3o \u00e1rabe do s\u00e9culo IX) responde \u00e0 nega\u00e7\u00e3o da crucifica\u00e7\u00e3o de Cristo pelos mu\u00e7ulmanos, argumentando que Deus, em sua vis\u00e3o, n\u00e3o permitiria que profetas fossem desonrados por meio de assassinato. Ele pergunta: &quot;Como podem nos acusar, quando Cristo \u00e9 um profeta aos olhos deles, de n\u00e3o mencionar que ele foi crucificado e afirmar que ele era precioso demais para Deus para ser crucificado? Pergunto-me o que diriam sobre Jo\u00e3o Batista (Yahya ibn Zakariya), quando reconhecem que ele foi decapitado e sua cabe\u00e7a entregue a uma escrava dan\u00e7arina que a pediu?&quot; Claramente, Ammar \u00e9 mais argumentativo do que Tim\u00f3teo e, sobre o mesmo assunto, acusa aqueles que negam a crucifica\u00e7\u00e3o de ingratid\u00e3o: &quot;Esta, \u00f3 homem, \u00e9 a gra\u00e7a e o favor de Deus sobre ti na crucifica\u00e7\u00e3o de Cristo, que rejeitaste, transformando o que deveria ser gratid\u00e3o em descren\u00e7a e desprezo.&quot; No entanto, Tim\u00f3teo diz no mesmo contexto: \u201cOs profetas que suportaram ser mortos pelos judeus n\u00e3o se tornaram por isso desprezados e indignos de desprezo diante de Deus. Portanto, nem todo judeu morto \u00e9 desprezado e indigno de desprezo. \u00c9 isso que os profetas observam.\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>A respeito do papel dos judeus na crucifica\u00e7\u00e3o e da tentativa de exoner\u00e1-los alegando que cumpriram a vontade de Deus ao crucificar Cristo, e que sem eles essa vontade n\u00e3o poderia ter sido cumprida, absolvendo-os assim de culpa, Tim\u00f3teo afirma: \u201dOs judeus n\u00e3o crucificaram Jesus (Cristo) segundo a sua vontade, mas sim por \u00f3dio e mal\u00edcia contra ele e contra aquele que o enviou. Por essa raz\u00e3o, crucificaram-no, isto \u00e9, para que morresse e perecesse na terra. Mas Cristo quis ser crucificado, para que por sua morte todos tivessem vida\u201d. O mesmo autor destaca que \u201cos judeus, de fato, o crucificaram, n\u00e3o porque ele fosse fraco e incapaz de venc\u00ea-los, mas porque ele o suportou voluntariamente\u201d. O prop\u00f3sito, portanto, \u00e9 outro. Ammar al-Basri compartilha da mesma opini\u00e3o ao afirmar: \u201cOs judeus n\u00e3o acreditavam que sua inten\u00e7\u00e3o ao matar Cristo fosse buscar deliberadamente o bem da humanidade, mas sim que foram impelidos a isso por sua antiga tirania, sua inveja familiar e seu h\u00e1bito malicioso de matar os profetas, santos e mensageiros de Deus.\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Tim\u00f3teo enfatiza ao Califa a import\u00e2ncia de honrar a Cruz, pois ela nos deu o fruto da vida: \u201cEle nos fez brotar da madeira da Cruz os frutos da vida, e tamb\u00e9m fez resplandecer para n\u00f3s, dentre os ramos da Cruz, os raios da vida e da imortalidade\u2026 Honramos e veneramos a Cruz, em rever\u00eancia ao fruto da vida que dela prov\u00e9m.\u201d O Cat\u00f3lico exorta o Califa a honrar a Cruz, pois o infinito amor de Deus pela humanidade manifestou-se na condescend\u00eancia de Sua Palavra ao mundo e em Sua aceita\u00e7\u00e3o da crucifica\u00e7\u00e3o at\u00e9 a morte: \u201d\u00c9, portanto, justo que todos demonstrem seu amor a Deus por meio da Cruz, pela qual o Alt\u00edssimo demonstrou Seu amor por todos.\u201c.<\/p>\n<p>Devemos fazer uma pausa para considerar a obra do poeta crist\u00e3o \u00e1rabe, Bispo Suleiman al-Ghazzi. Este poeta popular, que sabe como falar tanto \u00e0 mente quanto ao cora\u00e7\u00e3o, conta-nos que, quando era um jovem monge em Jerusal\u00e9m, viu um \u00edcone representando Ad\u00e3o participando da crucifica\u00e7\u00e3o de Cristo, e disse:<\/p>\n<p>Em alguns lugares, encontrei Ad\u00e3o retratado na crucifica\u00e7\u00e3o de Jesus, no ato da morte.<\/p>\n<p>Ent\u00e3o eu disse: Voc\u00eas veem isso como um pecado que foi adiado para n\u00f3s, enquanto ele j\u00e1 o fez?<\/p>\n<p>Salom\u00e3o quer salientar que todos n\u00f3s participamos da morte de Cristo cada vez que cometemos um pecado, visto que Ad\u00e3o representa todos os seres humanos neste poema.<\/p>\n<p>O bispo George, chefe da diocese, acredita que a nega\u00e7\u00e3o da crucifica\u00e7\u00e3o de Cristo pelos mu\u00e7ulmanos \u00e9 uma nega\u00e7\u00e3o do ato mais sublime de Cristo: sua &quot;submiss\u00e3o&quot; na cruz, ou seja, sua completa entrega \u00e0 vontade de Deus. A salva\u00e7\u00e3o veio por meio dessa entrega, que Cristo aceitou desde o momento de sua encarna\u00e7\u00e3o at\u00e9 a crucifica\u00e7\u00e3o. Tim\u00f3teo diz: &quot;Cristo sofreu voluntariamente na cruz pela salva\u00e7\u00e3o da humanidade&quot;. N\u00e3o rejeitemos a salva\u00e7\u00e3o que nos foi dada gratuitamente por meio de seu precioso sangue derramado na cruz que d\u00e1 a vida.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Do meu boletim
