Men att l\u00e4sa den bibliska texten p\u00e5 detta s\u00e4tt f\u00f6rblir ofullst\u00e4ndig om den inte tar h\u00e4nsyn till hela inneh\u00e5llet i Bibeln, s\u00e4rskilt det femte budet. <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">D\u00f6da inte<\/span>\u201d, som understryker vikten av att bevara varje m\u00e4nniskas liv, s\u00e4rskilt en f\u00f6rsvarsl\u00f6s varelse som inte kan skydda sig sj\u00e4lv, med vilket vi menar fostret.<\/p>\n<p>En m\u00e4nniskas liv b\u00f6rjar fr\u00e5n befruktnings\u00f6gonblicket. Fostret \u00e4r ett f\u00f6rtroende fr\u00e5n Gud i sina f\u00f6r\u00e4ldrars h\u00e4nder som inte kan f\u00f6rsummas.<\/p>\n<p>I Bibeln \u00e4r fostret inte en massa av k\u00f6tt, blod och fett, snarare, fr\u00e5n dess bildning i sin moders livmoder, tar det p\u00e5 sig Guds avbild. <strong>Herren s\u00e4ger till profeten Jeremia<\/strong>: &#8220;<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Innan jag formade dig i moderlivet k\u00e4nde jag dig, och innan du kom ut ur moderlivet helgade jag dig och gjorde dig till en profet f\u00f6r folken<\/span>&quot;(1:4). I samma sammanhang s\u00e4ger en s\u00e5ngare: <strong>Psalm 138<\/strong>: &#8220;<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Dina \u00f6gon s\u00e5g mig som ett embryo, och i din bok skrevs alla universum och deras dagar skildrades innan n\u00e5gon av dem existerade.<\/span>&quot;(vers 16). Aposteln Lukas evangelisten ber\u00e4ttar att Johannes D\u00f6paren, som ett foster, sprang i sin moders mage n\u00e4r den gravida Maria s\u00e5g Kristus. Fostret som d\u00f6das har inget ansikte eller m\u00e4nsklig gestalt. Han \u00e4r v\u00e4rdig att existera, leva och v\u00e4xa till Kristi fulla v\u00e4xt.<\/p>\n<p>Det r\u00e5der ingen tvekan om att ansvaret f\u00f6r att abortera ett foster faller p\u00e5 dess f\u00f6r\u00e4ldrar, p\u00e5 milj\u00f6n som omger dem, eller p\u00e5 det medicinska system som det ut\u00f6var, som \u00e4r villig att d\u00f6, och de kompetenser det har uppn\u00e5tt f\u00f6r att st\u00f6dja livet. Ansvaret faller ocks\u00e5 p\u00e5 dem som legaliserat det och stiftat de lagar som till\u00e5ter det. Detta beror p\u00e5 att livet b\u00f6rjar fr\u00e5n det f\u00f6rsta \u00f6gonblicket av befruktningen, och detta foster kan inte betraktas som en m\u00e4nniska om det inte r\u00e4knas som s\u00e5dant fr\u00e5n f\u00f6rsta minuten.<\/p>\n<p>Det finns ett annat problem till f\u00f6ljd av prenatal diagnos (\u00e9chographie), eftersom denna nya metod inom medicinv\u00e4rlden har m\u00e5nga f\u00f6rdelar n\u00e4r det g\u00e4ller att \u00f6vervaka fostret och dess utveckling. Det kan dock avvika fr\u00e5n sitt ursprungliga syfte och anv\u00e4ndas i selektiva syften, och d\u00e4rmed eliminera m\u00e5nga foster med fysiska eller psykiska funktionsneds\u00e4ttningar, rent ur ett sj\u00e4lviskt perspektiv. Vissa m\u00e4nniskor anv\u00e4nder urs\u00e4kten att bevara livet f\u00f6r dessa m\u00e4nniskor kan g\u00f6ra livet mer komplicerat, s\u00e5 av medk\u00e4nsla f\u00f6r familjen och dem, andra anv\u00e4nder urs\u00e4kten att s\u00e4ga att denna varelse kommer att kosta familjen och institutionerna enorma utgifter . Men de gl\u00f6mmer att livet inte bara m\u00e4ts av pengar och en sund struktur, utan av den andliga dimension som \u00e4r inneboende i varje m\u00e4nniska, eftersom ingen kan f\u00f6rst\u00e5 andligheten hos en handikappad person utom Gud ensam. M\u00e4nniskolivet, vare sig det \u00e4r sant eller f\u00f6rvr\u00e4ngt, f\u00f6rblir i Guds avbild och likhet, och ingen har r\u00e4tt att s\u00e4tta stopp f\u00f6r det. Det finns inget handikapp som f\u00f6rkortar en person, utan han v\u00e4ntar snarare p\u00e5 v\u00e5r k\u00e4rlek och omsorg. Eller \u00e4r inte v\u00e5r n\u00e4rvaro med m\u00e4nniskor som dessa en k\u00e4lla till vittnesb\u00f6rd och helgelse ocks\u00e5 f\u00f6r oss? Skulle det inte vara b\u00e4ttre f\u00f6r samh\u00e4llet att st\u00f6dja familjer som accepterar n\u00e4rvaron av funktionshindrade ist\u00e4llet f\u00f6r att uppmuntra dem att d\u00f6da dem?<\/p>\n<p>Under kristendomens andra \u00e5rhundrade n\u00f6jde sig de defensiva f\u00e4derna med att s\u00e4ga till hedningarna att kristna kvinnor inte utf\u00f6r aborter och inte \u00f6verger de barn de f\u00f6der. F\u00f6r dem var detta ett vittnesb\u00f6rd om kristendomen och en uppmaning att konvertera till den.
