استقلت كنيسة بولندا عن البطريركية المسكونية عام 1924 وتشمل 6 أساقفة و330 كاهن و7 أديرة ورئيس كنيستها اليوم هو متروبوليت فرشاف وسائر بولندا السيد سابا منذ 5 مايو 1998. وعدد رعيتها اليوم لا يتجاوز المليون.
