Why it was necessary Jesus to die for our sins?
It is fearful to think of the future of man who became evil after he sinned against God, but it is wonderful too to think of the only chance for man if he expecting to receive back the likeness of God he was created on, which clearly known in the Bible by (the salvation plan).
Man was created to live forever, but after the fall, he became separated from God. His disobedience brought death upon himself, but he learned to not worry, because God took pity on him, offering his only Son in reparation for man’s sin, this is the same love shown to humanity in times past “Who has made these things known from of old” (Acts 15:18).
God thought to give man a chance to show how far he can go in the path of goodness. According to the law of sacrifice and forgiveness, man have had to pay for his daily sins, and had to offer sacrifices and burnt offerings to satisfied God. but it was not that is the bath because “It is not possible for the blood of bulls and of goats to take sins away”. Animals like man see corruption, both die and turn to dust (Hebrews 10:4) the only substitute as it is written in (1 Corinthians 15:21) “For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead”. God judges man according to His law. The law says man has to pay his life for his disobedience. (Genesis 2:17)
The law of sacrifice was just a shadow representing The Lamb of God. (Isaiah 53: 7, John 1: 29, 1 Peter 1: 19).
God had to reveal His secret, to do what human beings could not do in their own power, so the only son of God became man, a perfect man born without a sin and as such the law cannot come over him. Someone who was not under the rule of death, someone who did nothing wrong to be blamed for (Leviticus 22:20) (Deuteronomy 17:1), Jesus the son of God is the only person that could mend what man had broken.
However, how much important is salvation for man and how much can it solve his problems? The Bible is so clear on showing how God is so angry (Romans 1: 18- 32), as sin is almost daily done by men and man cannot find himself a way to escape the sin. (Romans 3: 11- 18) Going after his own desires and pleasure was the main reason why man forgot God. (Romans 1: 28- 32) (Romans 6: 23)
Could man live an easy peaceful life without those evil sins affecting his life? Yes, he can and he could be a few feet far further from the answer to this question as the Bible offers a way for everyone to escape death and the wrath of God, here comes the need of reading the Holy Bible.
Maybe man does not have Bible reading in his plan. It could be because he is not sure if the Bible answers really can help or maybe afraid if he reads, he will be forced to change his ways, keep away from some worthless desires, so he prefers to keep the Bible on his bookshelf untouched. He even does not know if he really will need to read the Bible someday!! But how about a try? He could loose nothing.
Of course, there is a way to encouraging man read the Bible, it is the miracles. It is true, man does believe in miracles and the Bible is a rich source of miracles done by God through his prophets and by Jesus Christ, which are recorded by his disciples in the New Testament.
The Bible teaches us that Jesus Christ the Saviour (Hebrews 1:4) is God’s promise to his people Israel (Isaiah 61:1-3) and the only person who can offer help to those who call on God in his name (1Timothy 2:5).
Jesus is known in the Holy Bible by a group of names as He is the Son of God (John 9:35-38), He became the Son of man (Matthew 24:30), the Only Mediator (1 Timothy 2:5), the Stone which the builders rejected (Psalm 118:22), the Shepherd (John 10:11), the Lamb of God (John 1:29), the Lord (Act 2:36), the prince (Act 5:31), the Master (Matthew 22:24), the Teacher (Matthew 19:16), the King (Matthew 21:5) and many more names which indicate the type of work that he came into the world for.
Preachers cause confusion if they carry on talking their own thoughts, while the helpful knowledge of God and information about Jesus Christ are included in the Holy Bible. People who find it hard to understand the Bible are those who are more likely rely on the preacher’s doctrine. Information and answers to our growing questions about Jesus and his relationship with God should only giving to us by God, which can be found in the Holy Bible.
In the church the preachers intended to teach using examples to help find an easy way for everyone to learn and understand the faith. The examples are incorrect if used to support facts written in the Holy Bible about the living God and His Son (Isaiah 40: 18, 25, 46: 5, Acts 17: 29). The examples used are contrary to scriptural teaching in the word of God. We need to read the Holy Bible to gain the right information because it is the only way to find answers to all our questions with no doubt. Reading the Holy Bible several times gives us, clear views and helps us to understand better. (1 Thessalonians 5: 21). And to make it more simple, there are two main basic points in the Christian faith, by which man can build his knowledge on a strong foundation, to live his Christian faith safe, and to be empowered by the gift of the Holy Spirit so he can be a true disciple of Christ and have the necessary power to teach and help others to understand:
First: God is the only Living God (Deuteronomy 6:4, 2 Kings 19: 15, 1 Corinthian 8: 4, 6). There is only one God who is our father the Creator, the Bible can reveal.
Second: Jesus is the only begotten son of God (Matthew 16: 16) who became flesh (John 1: 14); the teaching and the wonderful Miracles he made show us as well as his birth, how Jesus is unique. As man, Jesus was born to Mary (From the tribe of Judah) to be called the son of David (Acts 2: 30) as well he is the Son of man (Matthew 24: 37), in God’s plan He is the Saviour (Acts 4: 12) and God blessed (Romans 9: 5, Matthew 3: 17, Isaiah 9: 6).
Christians believe in the father (God the creator), the son (God the saviour) and the Holy Spirit (God the comforter). We need to learn the right knowledge to be able to pass it to everyone. (Matthew 12: 30) If we understand God’s purposes, then we can help save the others by the right knowledge that leads to Jesus Christ and the eternal life.
Why is it so important to believe in Jesus if you are a believer in God? It is because Jesus is the only name for our hope. Through Jesus we come out of the darkness and into the light, we receive the promise of God, become secured and can be saved from the threat of death and get the chance to live for all eternity.
Also there are three main sources to tell us why this uproar about Jesus and who is He?
1) The Old Testament, which is the book of God for his people Israel. (Deuteronomy 6: 4- 9, 14: 2) The book of Genesis tells how God established his covenant between Him and Israel in their generations for an everlasting covenant (Genesis 17: 7, Isaiah 53: 1- 12, John 5: 46, 5: 39, and 5: 26). This covenant is about the promise of salvation by the coming of the messiah.
2) The New Testament. The coming of Jesus Christ, the expected messiah, his life and mission.
3) The Holy Spirit The comforter, who descended upon the church fifty days later, (Acts 2: 4) after the resurrection of our saviour Jesus Christ a certain of his promise (John 7: 39).
