Help me, Lord, to face everything that this present day will bring for me in peace.

I mean to surrender myself completely to your holy will.

Enlighten me and strengthen me in every matter every hour of this day.

Teach me to receive everything new that this day brings me with calm and firm conviction that nothing happens without your permission.

Evaluate my thoughts and feelings in everything I do and say.

If something unexpected happens to me this day, do not let me forget that it is coming from you.

Teach me how to act honestly and wisely with those around me so as not to make anyone sad or upset.

Give me, Lord, the strength to bear the hardship of this day and all that it will bring for me.

You guide my will and teach me to pray, believe, be patient, forgive and love.
