“I urge you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service of worship” (Romans 12:1).
1 “What then? Israel did not obtain what he sought, but the elect obtained it, and the rest were hardened.” (Romans 11:7) The Apostle Paul said:
As St. Paul did in previous issues, he points out paradoxes in relation to the law and in relation to the people who were facing condemnation.
“Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is that they may be saved” (Rom. 10:1). 1 Again we find the apostle Paul
“I tell the truth in Christ; I lie not; my conscience bears me witness in the Holy Spirit” (Rom. 9:1). 1 Was my speech not
“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God” (Romans 8:28). 1 It seems to me that he is speaking

The apostle went on to another subject, while leaving the subject of salvation as a given, contenting himself with what he had shown us. This subject
“For we know that the law is spiritual, but I am carnal, sold under sin” (Romans 7:14). 1 - And because the Apostle Paul said:
After he finished speaking about the practical moral teachings, we find him returning once again to the faith teachings, saying: “Or do you not know, O you who believe?”
“I speak humanly because of the weakness of your body. For just as you presented your bodies as slaves to uncleanness, and to iniquity for unrighteousness, so now present your members as slaves
