Thanksgiving Prayer – Prayer after Communion

When did you have the good fortune to participate in the mystical, life-giving sacrifices? Immediately praise and give great thanks and say to God fervently from the bottom of your heart the following:

Glory to you, O God. Glory to you, O God. Glory to you, O God.

The first revelation is indefinite
Thank you, Lord my God, for not excluding me, a sinner. Rather, you have qualified me to become a partner in your sanctities. Thank you for making me, the undeserving, worthy of receiving your pure and heavenly offerings. O Master, lover of mankind, who died for us and then rose again. He granted us these awesome, life-giving secrets as a blessing and sanctification for our souls and bodies. May it be mine too for the healing of soul and body. And to repel every confronting enemy. And to enlighten the eyes of my heart. And the peace and calm of my psychological strength. And for faith that is not shameful. And for a love that has no hypocrisy. And to be filled with wisdom. And take care of your commandments. And to increase your divine grace. And to qualify for your kingdom. So that as long as I preserve it in your sanctification, I will always remember your grace and no longer live for myself. Rather, for you, O our Master and our benefactor. And if you also leave this world with the hope of eternal life. I come to eternal rest, where the melodious melody of the mourners does not fade. The limitless pleasure is the delight of those watching the beauty of your face that cannot be described. Because you are truly desired and the indescribable joy of those who love you, O Christ our God. And all creation praises You for all eternity. Amen.

The Second Epiphany of Saint Basil the Great
O Lord Christ God. King of eternity and Creator of all. Thank you for all the good things you have given me. And to receive your pure and life-giving secrets. I beseech you, O good and loving human being, to protect me under your protection and under the shade of your wings. And grant me a pure conscience until my last breath. To partake of Your sanctities worthy of forgiveness of sins and eternal life. Because you are the bread of life, the source of sanctification, and the giver of good things. To you we send glory with the Father and the Holy Spirit, now and at all times and to the ages of ages. Amen.

The Third Epiphany by Saint Simeon the translator
O you who by choice gave me food for your body. O you who are fire and burn the undeserving. Do not burn me, O my Maker, do not burn me. Rather, it flows through the joints of my members. And all my limbs, my kidneys, and my heart. And burn the thorns of all my slips. Purify myself and sanctify my mind. It strengthened my nerves and bones. Enlighten my five senses. And your fear instilled in me. Always guard me under your protection. And keep me safe from every action and word that corrupts the soul. And purify me, purify me, and improve my conduct. Improve me, enlighten me, and enlighten me. Make me a dwelling place for your spirit only, so that I will no longer be a dwelling place for sin. Even if I become your home by entering into the company, every evildoer and every obsessive and whims will flee from me as they flee from hell. I intercede before you with all the saints and all the pure, incorporeal creatures, your forerunners and your wise apostles, as well as your pure and pure mother. So accept their requests, O Compassionate Christ, and make me, your worshiper, a son of light. Because you alone sanctify our souls and delight us, O good one. To you we send glory every day due to duty, O Lord God.

The fourth revelation is indefinite
May your holy body become for me, O Lord Jesus Christ, our God, for eternal life, and your precious blood for the forgiveness of sins. May the communion of these offerings be for me health, joy and pleasure. And make me, a sinner, worthy to stand at the right hand of Your glory in Your terrible second coming. Through the intercession of your most pure Mother and all your saints. Amen.

This revelation to the Mother of God is indefinite
O Lady, Most Holy Mother of God. O light of my dark soul, my hope, my cover, my refuge, my consolation, and my joy. Thank you for making me, the undeserving, worthy of becoming a partaker of the pure body and precious blood of your Son. O you who gave birth to the true light, enlighten the rational eyes of my heart. O you who gave birth to the fountain of immortality, revive me who was dead in sin. O Mother of the Most Merciful God, of compassion and compassion, have mercy on me. Grant my heart humility and contrition, and my thoughts humility. And recover my wandering thoughts in the graves of captivity. And make me worthy, until my last breath, to receive the sanctification of the pure mysteries for the healing of soul and body without condemnation. (And grant me tears of contrition and confession so that I may praise and glorify You all the days of my life. For you are blessed and glorified for all ages. Amen.) -three times

Now, O Master, you are releasing your servant in peace according to your word, for my eyes have seen your salvation, which you have prepared before the faces of all peoples. A light for the nations to rise up and glory for your people Israel.

Holy God, Holy Mighty, Holy Immortal, have mercy on us (three times)

Glory be to the Father, to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, now and at all times and to the ages of ages, Amen.

O Holy Trinity, have mercy on us, O Lord, forgive our sins, O Lord, overlook our bad deeds, O Holy One, come forth and heal our diseases, for your name’s sake.

Lord have mercy, Lord have mercy, Lord have mercy,

Glory be to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, now and at all times and to the ages of ages, Amen.

Our father in the skies. Hallowed be your name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done. As in heaven so on earth. Give us our essential bread today. And leave to us what we owe, just as we leave it to those who owe it to us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, Amen

In the event of holding the Mass of John Chrysostom:

Glory be to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit
Grace has shone from your mouth like a shining lamp. It illuminated the world and stored up the world with the treasures of rejecting the love of silver. She explained to us the sublimity of humility. O Father John Chrysostom, who disciplines people with his words, intercede with the Word, Christ God, for the salvation of our souls.

Now and at all times and forever and ever, Amen.
You have received divine grace from heaven, O John Chrysostom, the righteous and all-blessed. And you taught everyone with the words of your lips to worship the One God, the Triune Persons. So we sing praises to you. You are still a teacher explaining divine mysteries.

In the event that Basil the Great’s Mass is celebrated, we say:

Glory be to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit
Your voice has spread throughout the land that has received your words, O righteous father. It defined the beliefs appropriate to God. You explained the nature of beings. Human morals were educated. O possessor of the royal priesthood, pray to Christ God to grant us great mercy.

Now and at all times and forever and ever, Amen.
You have appeared as an unshakable foundation for the Church. You supported its leadership with the seal of your beliefs and granted it to all human beings as a refuge to seek refuge in. O righteous Basil, who reveals heavenly things.
The Church has appeared as a sky full of lights, illuminating all believers. While we were standing there, we shouted, “Lord, strengthen this house.”

In the case of holding a pre-sanctified Mass, we say:

Glory be to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit
Let us all praise Gregory the wise theologian with hymns. Archbishop of Rome, the honorable servant. The important successor of Peter and the path of serving the holy sites that were previously canonized. Because he intercedes without ceasing to Christ God for the salvation of our souls.

Now and at all times and forever and ever, Amen.
Let us now praise the merits of Gregory the Wise, Divine and Holy Theologian, Pope of Rome and the path and teacher of service.

Then, Lord, have mercy (12 times).

Glory be to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, now and at all times and to the ages of ages, Amen.

O You who are more honorable than the Cherubim and incomparably higher in glory than the Seraphim. O You who truly gave birth to the Word of God without corruption. You are the Mother of God. You are the One whom we magnify.

Through the prayers of our holy fathers, O Lord Jesus Christ our God, have mercy on us and save us, Amen.
