Come, let us prostrate and kneel before Christ, who is our King and our God. (prostration)

If we are in the first week of Great Lent, we recite Psalm 70 (69).

Psalm 70 (69)

Oh God, hasten to help me, O Lord, hasten to my relief.

Let those who seek My soul be ashamed and put to shame.

May it be turned back and shamed on those who wish to offend Me.

And let those who say to me, “Ah, ah,” be turned back in shame.

And let those who seek you, O God, rejoice and be glad,

And let those who love your salvation repeat at all times:

“How great is the Lord.”

But I am poor and wretched,

Oh God, help me. You are my supporter and savior

So, Lord, do not delay.

Otherwise, we will recite the following psalms

Psalm 4

You have heard me in my supplications, O God of my truth! In distress you removed my grief.

Have mercy on me and listen to my prayer.

O sons of men, are you so hard-hearted? Why do you love vanity and pursue lies?

Know that the Lord works wonders for His saint. The Lord listens to me when I pray to Him.

Do not sin if you are angry. And whatever you repeat in your hearts, regret in your beds.

Offer a true sacrifice, and let your hopes rise to the Lord. Many people ask: “Who will show us what is good?”

You are the one who has bestowed upon us the light of your face, O Lord. You brought joy to my heart. Where is their joy in the abundance of their wheat, wine, and oil?

I lie down and sleep peacefully;

You alone, O Lord, have made me stay in hope.

 Psalm 6

O Lord, do not rebuke me in your anger, and do not discipline me in your anger.

Have mercy on me, O Lord, for I am sick.

Heal me, for my bones tremble. My soul is in great turmoil.

How long, Lord?

Come back, O Lord, and save my soul, and in your mercy save me.

No dead person remembers you, and in hell who thanks you?

I am in pain because of my groaning. Every night my tears overflow, wetting my bed.

My eyes are weak with grief, and I grow old and the enemies surround me.

Away, you sinners; the Lord has heard the voice of my lamentation.

The Lord listened to my request. The Lord answered my prayer.

Let all my enemies be ashamed and confounded,

And let them quickly retreat and be ashamed.

Psalm 13 (12)

How long, O Lord, forget me? Forever? How long will you hide your face from me?

How often do I carry grief within myself and sadness in my heart day and night? How will my enemy prevail over me?

Look and answer me, O Lord my God! Enlighten my eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death, lest my enemy say, “I have overcome him.”

My adversaries rejoice when I sin. As for me, your hopes have risen to your mercy.

My heart rejoices in your salvation. I will sing praises to the Lord who has been good to me, and I will sing praises to the name of the Lord Most High.

Look and answer me, O Lord my God!

O Lord my God, enlighten my eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death, lest my enemy say, “I have overcome him.”

Glory be to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, now, and at all times, and to the ages of ages. Amen.

Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, glory be to you, O God. (Three with three prostrations).

Lord have mercy, Lord have mercy, Lord have mercy.

Glory be to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, now, and at all times, and to the ages of ages. Amen.

Psalm 25 (24)

To You, O Lord, I lift up my soul.

And in you, my God, I trust.

So I will never be ashamed. And let not my enemies gloat over me.

For all who hope in you will not be put to shame. Rather, shame is for those who depart without a cause.

O Lord, make your way known to me, and your approach teach me.

Guide me in your truth and guide me, for you are God my Savior, and in you I have hoped all day.

Remember, O Lord, your mercy and compassion, for they are from eternity.

Do not remember the sins of my youth and my transgressions. Rather, remember me in your mercy, O Lord, for your goodness.

The Lord is good and upright, so He guides those who are lost from the path with His law.

He guides the meek to justice, and teaches them his ways.

The paths of the Lord are all mercy and truth to those who seek His covenant and commandments.

For your name's sake, O Lord, forgive my sin, for it is great.

Who is the man who fears the Lord? He is the one who guides him on the path he has chosen.

Then he himself will settle in bliss, and his descendants will inherit the earth.

The Lord is strength to those who fear him, and to them he declares his covenant.

My eyes are always on the Lord, for he will bring my feet out of the snare.

Look upon me and have mercy on me, for I am lonely and miserable.

The sorrows of my heart increased, so He rescued me from my trouble.

Look at my misery and torment, and forgive all my sins.

See my enemies and their multitude, and with what iniquitous hatred they have hated me.

Save me and preserve my soul, and I will not be ashamed, for my hope is in you.

But the meek and the upright will abide with me, for you, O Lord, are my hope.

Oh God, save the children of Israel

From all their afflictions.

Psalm 31 (30)

To You, O Lord, my hopes rise, so that I will never be ashamed. By Your truth, save me and deliver me.

Incline your ear to me, and save me quickly. Be my God my protector,

And a strong fortress of my salvation.

You are my strength and my fortress, for your name's sake you guide and guide me.

Take me out of the trap they have hidden for me, because you, O Lord, are my helper.

Into your hands I entrust my spirit, for you will save me, O Lord, O God of truth.

You hate worshipers of false idols. As for me, in You, O Lord, are my hopes.

I will rejoice and rejoice in your mercy, because you looked at my misery and saved my soul from troubles.

You did not deliver me into the grip of the enemy, but rather let me go into a spacious place.

Have mercy on me, O Lord, for I am in distress. My eyes are troubled with sorrow, and my soul and my inward parts are troubled.

My life was spent in pains, and my life in groaning. In my troubles, my strength has failed, and my bones have worn out.

I have become a disgrace to my enemies and neighbors, and a terror to those who know me. So whoever saw me on the way moved away from me.

Hearts forgot me like a dead person, and like a damaged vessel I became dark, so I heard the censure of many who live near me.

They all conspired to eliminate me, and were determined to take my soul.

As for me, in you, O Lord, is the foundation of my hope, and I say: “You are my God.” And in your hands is my destiny.

So deliver me from my enemies and my persecutors.

Make your face shine upon your servant, and save me with your mercy. O Lord, I will not be ashamed, for I am the one who calls out to you. But let the wicked be put to shame and fall into the world of the dead.

Let lying lips be silenced, which hypocritically attack the righteous with arrogance and contempt.

How great is your goodness, O Lord, which you have reserved for those who fear you,

And you appointed it for those whose hopes were set upon you, in the sight of the children of men.

You cover them with your face from the machinations of people. And in your dwelling you protect them from the accusation of tongues.

Blessed be God, who has given me the wonders of his mercy in a fortified city.

I said in my confusion: “In your eyes, I have been excluded.”

But you heard the voice of my supplication, when I cried to you.

Love the Lord, all you who fear Him, for the Lord seeks truth,

He rewards those who are excessive in pride. Be strong and let your hearts be strong, all you who trust in the Lord.

Psalm 91 (90)

He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the God of heaven.

He says to the Lord, “You are my protector and my fortress, my God, to whom I will die with my hopes.”

He will deliver you from the snare of the fishermen, and from deadly words.

With the feathers of his wings he shades you, and in his shelter you find a space of hope. He surrounds you like a true weapon. Do not fear the terror of the night, nor the flying arrows of the day.

Nor what happens in the dark, nor the disaster nor the evil at noon.

Thousands will fall on your side, and tens of thousands on your right, and nothing will touch you.

It is enough for you to look with your own eyes to see the punishment of the wicked.

“For you, O Lord, are my hope,” and you have made the Most High your refuge.

No harm will befall you, and no blow will approach your shelter. For he will give his angels charge over you, to guard you in all your ways.

And they will bear you up in their hands, lest you dash your foot against a stone.

You will trample the serpent and the serpent, and you will trample the lion and the dragon.

I will deliver him, because he trusted in me. And I will protect him because he has known my name.

He calls on me and I answer him, and I am with him in trouble. I will save him and glorify him.

It Ohbah length of days, and show him my salvation.

Glory be to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, now, and at all times, and to the ages of ages. Amen.

Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, glory be to you, O God. (three).

Lord have mercy, Lord have mercy, Lord have mercy.

Glory be to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, now, and at all times, and to the ages of ages. Amen.

Then we recite the verses gradually, without refraining, if we are outside the great fortieth fast. As for it, the two choirs chant it alternately, carefully and in a high voice:

On the sixth tune

  1. God is with us, so know, O nations, and be defeated, because God is with us.
  2. Listen, all you ends of the earth, for God is with us.
  3. O strong ones, be defeated, because God is with us.
  4. Even if you are strong, you will overcome again, because God is with us.
  5. And whatever opinion you have, the Lord will remove it, because God is with us.
  6. Whatever you say will not abide in you, because God is with us.
  7. We are not afraid of your threat, nor are we disturbed, because God is with us.
  8. But we sanctify the Lord our God, for it is he whom we fear, because God is with us.
  9. If I trust in Him, He will sanctify me, because God is with us.
  10. So I will trust in Him and be saved by Him, because God is with us.
  11. Here I am and the children that God has given me, because God is with us.
  12. The people walking in darkness have seen a great light, because God is with us.
  13. For us who live in the land of death and its shadows, a light shines upon us, because God is with us.
  14. Because a son was born to us as a child, and we gave him, because God is with us.
  15. His leadership will be upon him, because God is with us.
  16. There is no limit to his peace, because God is with us.
  17. And his name will be called, “The Angel of Great Counsel,” because God is with us.
  18. A wonderful counselor, because God is with us.
  19. A powerful, dominant God, the Prince of Peace, because God is with us.
  20. Father of the age to come, because God is with us.

Glory to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, for God is with us.

Now, and at all times, and for ever and ever, Amen. Because God is with us.

God is with us, so know, O nations, and be defeated, because God is with us.

Now let us recite the following hymns in turn.

I thank you, Lord, that I have passed through the day, and I beseech you that in the evening and in the night I may be without sin: O Savior, hear me and save me.

Glory to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit,

I glorify you, O Lord, for I have passed through the day, and I beseech you that I may not stumble in the evening and in the night: O Savior, hear me and save me.

Now, and at all times, and for ever and ever, Amen.

I praise You, O Holy One, for I have passed through the day, and I beseech You that in the evening and at night I may be safe from the machinations of the enemies: O Savior, answer me and save me.

Then the two choirs sing together on the sixth tune:

  1. The incorporeal nature of the Cherubim glorifies you with praises that do not remain silent.
  2. And the seraphim, the six-winged beings, speak loudly to you with continuous voices.
  3. And all the angelic hosts praise you with songs of triple sanctification.
  4. For you exist before all things, O Father, and your Son is your counterpart in not beginning.
  5. And since you are the bearer of the Spirit of life, equal in dignity to you, you show that the Trinity is indivisible.
  6. O Most Holy Virgin, Mother of God, and eyewitnesses of the Word and His servants.
  7. O all ranks of prophets and martyrs, since you have immortal life.
  8. Intercede for everyone without ceasing, because we all face adversity.
  9. So that we may be saved from the error of the evil one, we shout the praises of the angels, saying:
  10. Holy, holy, holy, O Trinity of sanctification, O Lord, have mercy on us and save us, Amen.

Then we recite the Constitution of Faith:

I believe in one God, Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth, of all things visible and unseen, and in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, begotten of the Father before all ages, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not created, co-equal. Of the Father in essence, by whom all things were made, who for us men, and for our salvation, came down from heaven and was incarnated by the Holy Spirit and by the Virgin Mary, and was made man, and was crucified for us under Pontius Pilate, and suffered and was buried, and rose again on the third day, as it is in the Scriptures. And he ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father. And he will come in glory to judge the living and the dead, whose kingdom is without end, and by the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the Giver of Life, who proceeds from the Father, who is worshiped and glorified with the Father and the Son, who spoke through the prophets, and in one Church. , university, Holy, apostolic.

I confess one baptism for the forgiveness of sins.

I hope for the resurrection of the dead, and life in the coming age, Amen.

{{When we are about to receive the Holy Mysteries, after we recite the Creed, we begin directly with “Al-Mutalibsi,” then we return to where we left off in the Great Sleeping Prayer... Addition from the network}}

Then these first verses are repeated three times, and the other verses are repeated twice, except for the last verse, which is recited once. Then the second choir begins to chant it on the sixth tune.

1- O Most Holy Lady, Mother of God, intercede for us sinners. (three).

2- O all heavenly powers, angels and holy archangels, intercede for us sinners. (repeated).

3- O Saint John the Prophet, the forerunner of our Lord Jesus Christ, and his baptizer, intercede for us sinners. (repeated).

4- O glorious saints, apostles, prophets, and martyrs, and all saints, intercede for us sinners. (repeated).

5- O righteous ones, our God-bearing fathers, shepherds and teachers of the world, intercede for us sinners. (repeated).

6- O divine power of the noble and life-giving Cross, which is invincible and unimaginable, do not neglect us sinners. (repeated).

7- O God, forgive us sinners. (three).

8- And have mercy on us (Once).

Then we say:

The people: Holy God, Holy Mighty, Holy Immortal, have mercy on us.

Holy God, Holy Mighty, Holy Immortal, have mercy on us.

Holy God, Holy Mighty, Holy Immortal, have mercy on us.

Glory be to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, now, and at all times, and to the ages of ages. Amen.

O Holy Trinity, have mercy on us, O Lord, forgive our sins, O Lord, overlook our transgressions, O Holy One, come forth and heal our diseases, for your name’s sake.

Lord have mercy, Lord have mercy, Lord have mercy.

Glory be to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, now, and at all times, and to the ages of ages. Amen.

Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, as it is in heaven, also on earth. Give us today our essential bread. And leave to us what we owe, just as we leave it to those who owe us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

The priestFor yours is the kingdom, the power, and the glory, O Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, now and at all times and to the ages of ages.

The people: Amen.

If a holiday falls, we sing its hymn. Otherwise, we sing these hymns on Mondays and Wednesdays to the second tune.

O Christ God, enlighten my eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death, lest my enemy say: “I have overcome him.”

Glory to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit,

Oh God, be my soul’s protector, because I walk among many traps, so save me from them and save me, O righteous one, for you are a lover of mankind.

Now, and at all times, and for ever and ever. Amen.

O Virgin Mother of God, since we have no help due to our many sins, entreat the one who was born of you. The mother’s request has a great ability to attract the Lord’s sympathy. Do not turn away from the pleas of sinners, O Most Reverent, because He who accepted to suffer for us in the flesh is merciful and able to save us.

On Tuesdays and Thursdays, we sing the eighth tune.

O Lord, You know the constant vigilance of my invisible enemies, and You know the weakness of my wretched body, O my Creator. Therefore into your hands I commit my spirit. Spread the wings of your goodness upon me, lest I sleep the sleep of death. Enlighten my insight, so that I may enjoy your divine words. And awaken me at an appropriate time to glorify You. You alone are good and a lover of mankind.

any: Look at me and have mercy on me, just as you had mercy in your judgment on those who love your name.

O Lord, how terrifying is your judgment, when angels attend, humans are gathered, books are opened, deeds are revealed, and thoughts are examined. What will be my judgment for me, who is shackled with sins? Who will extinguish the flames of fire for me? Who will light up my darkness? If you do not have mercy on me, O Lord who loves mankind.

Glory to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit,

Give me tears, O God, as You gave before to the sinful woman, and make me worthy to wet Your feet, which freed me from the path of error, and to offer You my pure life renewed through repentance. Smart, so that I can hear your longed-for voice:

“Your faith has saved you; go in peace.”

Now, and at all times, and for ever and ever. Amen.

O Mother of God, since my trust in you does not fail, I will be saved, and since I have achieved your victory, O Most Pure, I will not be afraid, but I will pursue my enemies and defeat them. Die A shield that will cover you alone. And he was brought up to your full component: O master, save me with your intercessions, and you will lead me from the depth of the darkness of the soul of God.

then

God bless (40 times)

Glory be to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, now, and at all times, and to the ages of ages. Amen.

You are more honorable than the Cherubim, and more glorious than the Seraphim. O you who gave birth to God - the Word and remained a virgin. Truly you are the Mother of God, we magnify you.

Then he says The priest:

The priestThrough the prayers of our holy fathers, O Lord Jesus Christ our God, have mercy on us and save us.

The people: Amen.

Then this prayer by Saint Basil the Great.

O Lord, O Lord, you who have rescued us from every arrow that is directed at us during the day, rescue us from everything that flies in the darkness, and accept the raising of our hands as an evening sacrifice, and make us worthy of The night period is permissible, free from every temptation and defect. And save us from every disorder and fear that comes to us from Satan. Grant our souls humility, and our thoughts interest in contemplating Your awesome and just judgment. Pervade our bodies with Your fear, and quench our earthly desires, so that we may delight in our peaceful sleep by contemplating Your judgments. Keep away from us every inappropriate imagination and harmful desire. And establish us in the time of prayer steadfast in the faith and prosperous in doing your commandments, by the good pleasure of your only Son, who is good and created life, now, and at all times, and for the ages of ages.

The people: Amen.

Come, let us worship and kneel before our King and our God. (prostration)

Come, let us worship and kneel before Christ, our King and God. (prostration)

Come, let us prostrate and kneel before Christ, who is our King and our God. (prostration)

Psalm 51 (50)

Have mercy on me, O God, in your great mercy, and in your great compassion blot out my transgressions.

Wash me frequently from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.

For I know my transgression, and my sin is always before me.

Against you, you only, have I sinned and done what is evil in your sight, that you may appear just in your words and victorious in your judgment.

Behold, I was conceived in transgressions, and in sins my mother bore me.

For you loved the truth, and you revealed to me the secrets and hidden things of your wisdom.

You shall sprinkle me with hyssop and I shall be clean; you shall wash me and I shall be whiter than snow.

You make me hear joy and gladness, and my broken bones rejoice.

Hide your face from my sins, and blot out all my iniquities.

Create within me a clean heart, O God, and renew a strong spirit within me.

Do not cast me from before your face, and do not take your Holy Spirit from me.

Grant me joy in your salvation, and establish in me a vigilant spirit.

Then I will teach transgressors your ways, and sinners will return to you.

Save me from bloodshed, O God, God of my salvation, and let my tongue sing of your righteousness.

O Lord, open my lips, so that my mouth will sing your praise.

If you had preferred the sacrifice, I would have offered it to you, but you do not delight in burnt offerings.

A sacrifice to God is a contrite spirit. A humble and contrite heart will not be rejected by God.

Do good, O Lord, in your good pleasure to Zion, and build the walls of Jerusalem.

So you delight in the just sacrifice, the offering and the burnt offerings.

Then they will offer bulls on your altar.

Psalm 101 (102)

O Lord, hear my prayer, and let my cry reach you.

Do not hide your face from me. In the day of trouble incline your ear.

Respond quickly when I call upon you.

My days vanished like smoke, and my bones burned like fuel.

My heart withers like withered grass, until I forget to eat my bread.

From the sound of my skin clinging to my bones.

I resembled a prairie crow, and became like a barn owl.

I stayed up all night and became like a solitary sparrow on the roof.

So my enemies taunted me all day long, and those who praised me plotted against me.

I ate the ashes like bread, and mixed my drink with tears. Because of your anger and anger, you raised me high and then threw me down.

My days are like a shifting shadow, and I wither like grass.

But you, O Lord, remain forever, and your remembrance endures from generation to generation.

You will arise and have compassion on Zion, for the time has come for you to have compassion on her, and the time has come.

Your servants delight in its stones and long for its dust.

The nations will fear your name, and all the kings of the earth will glorify you.

For the Lord will build Zion, and will be seen in the splendor of his glory.

He pays attention to the supplications of the humble, and does not disappoint their requests.

This will be written for the coming generation, and the people that will be created will rejoice in the Lord.

For He looked down from the height of His holiness, and from heaven to earth He looked.

To hear the sighs of the prisoners, and to release the children of those who are prepared to die.

And the name of the Lord will be spoken in Zion, and he will be praised in Jerusalem.

When peoples and kingdoms gather to worship the Lord.

He chose him in the path of his strength, and told me how few my days were.

Do not take me into the middle of my life, for your years pass generation after generation.

You, O Lord, in the beginning laid the foundations of the earth, and the heavens were made by your hands.

They will pass away, but you will remain, and they will all wear out like a garment.

And like a dress, you change it and it changes. And you are the same, and your years will not fail.

The children of your servants will live securely, and their descendants will be right before you forever.

Prayer of Manasseh, King of Judea

O Lord Almighty, God of our fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and their righteous descendants. O You who formed the heavens and the earth and all their order, O You who subdued the sea by His command, and closed the depths with His majestic and glorious name. O You, at whose power all tremble and tremble, because the majesty of your glory is unbearable, your admonition to sinners is irresistible when you are angry, and your mercy that you have promised is unfathomable. You are the Lord Most High, compassionate, compassionate, full of mercy, and forgiving of people’s sins. You, O Lord, in your abundance of kindness, have promised repentance and forgiveness to the offender. By your abundance of compassion, you instituted repentance for the salvation of sinners. For you, O Lord, God of hosts, did not establish repentance for the righteous, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, who had not sinned against you, but you established it for me, a sinner, because I have sinned more than Sea sand. My transgressions have multiplied, O Lord, my transgressions have multiplied.

I am not qualified to look and stare at the height of the sky due to the many sins I have committed, and here I am bent down due to the many iron chains I have, and I am not able to raise my head and find rest for myself. I provoked your anger, and I sinned before your eyes, and I did not do your will, or keep your commands. And now I bow the knee of my heart to you, begging for your kindness: I have sinned, O Lord, I have sinned, and I know my sin. But I ask you imploringly: Forgive me, O Lord, forgive me and do not destroy me in my sin, and do not keep my wickedness in wrath forever. And do not judge me in the underworld. You are God, the God of the repentant, and in me you show your goodness, and you save me, who am undeserving, with your great mercy. So I will praise you all the days of my life. To you do the powers of the heavens praise you, and to you be glory forever and ever.

The people: Amen.

Holy God, Holy Mighty, Holy Immortal, have mercy on us.

Holy God, Holy Mighty, Holy Immortal, have mercy on us.

Then we sing slowly and calmly these songs of reverence:

On the sixth tune

Have mercy on us, O Lord, have mercy on us, for we are incapable of any answer. Therefore, we sinners offer you this supplication, O Master, have mercy on us.

Glory to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit,

Have mercy on us, O Lord, have mercy on us, for we trust in you. Do not be very angry with us, and do not remember our iniquities, but look on us now, O compassionate One, and deliver us from our enemies. You are our God, we are your people, we are all the work of your hands, and we call on your name.

Now, and at all times, and for ever and ever. Amen.

Open for us the door of compassion, O blessed Mother of God, because we have placed our hope in you. So we will not be disappointed, but rather we will save you from adversity. You are salvation for the descendants of Christians.

O Sovereign God Almighty, and Lord, the only Son, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit, the one God and the one Power, have mercy on me, a sinner, with your judgments. You know it, save me, your unworthy servant. You are blessed forever and ever, Amen.

Come, let us worship and kneel before our King and our God. (prostration)

Come, let us worship and kneel before Christ, our King and God. (prostration)

Come, let us prostrate and kneel before Christ, who is our King and our God. (prostration)

Psalm 143 (142)

Lord, hear my prayer. In Your truth, listen to my supplication, and answer me in Your justice.

Do not put your servant to trial, for no living person will be justified in your sight. The enemy has pursued my soul and has humbled my life to the ground.

He made me dwell in darkness, like a dead person long gone. Despair took over my soul, and terror ruled my heart.

I remember the days of old, and I meditate on all your works, and I meditate on the works of your hands.

I have stretched out my hand to you, and my soul is like a land thirsty for you.

Hurry, O Lord, and answer me, for my soul is in its last breath.

Do not hide your face from me, for I will be like those who fall into the pit. Make me hear the words of your mercy in the morning, for to you are my hopes.

Make me know, O Lord, which way I should take, for to You I lift up my soul.

Save me from my enemies, O Lord, for I seek refuge in You. So teach me to do what pleases You, for you are my God.

Your good spirit guides me to the right path. For your name's sake, O Lord, revive me.

In your righteousness you bring my soul out of distress, and in your mercy you destroy my enemies.

And my troubles destroy my soul, for I am only your servant.

Magdala

O Lord, you have been a refuge for us, generation after generation. I said, Lord, have mercy on me, and heal my soul, for I have sinned against you.

Blessed are you, Lord, make me understand your statutes.

Blessed are you, O Holy One, enlighten me with your statutes.

O Lord, your mercy endures forever, and you will not be turned away from the works of your hands.

To you is due praise, to you is due praise, to you is due glory, O Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, now and at all times, and to the ages of ages. Amen.

O Lord, if Your saints were not our intercessors, and Your goodness was compassionate towards us, how would we dare to praise You, O Savior, whom the angels bless without ceasing? O you who are acquainted with the concerns of hearts, have pity on our souls.

Now, and at all times, and for ever and ever. Amen.

My sins are many, O Mother of God, so I turn to you, O pure one, asking for salvation. So take care of my sick soul, and intercede with your son and our God to grant me forgiveness for the hardship I have endured, O blessed one alone.

He recites The first chanter In front of the icon of Our Lady is this prayer to the Mother of God.

By Paul the monk, head of the Mohsen Monastery.

O pure lady, bride of God, pure virgin, without spot, blemish, or corruption. O You who, through Her miraculous birth, united God, the Word, and humanity, and linked our fallen nature with the heavenly ones. Come to it and be a refuge for all Christians. Do not reject me, the sinner who has been defiled by vile thoughts, words, and deeds, and has become, through his lack of resolve, a slave. For the pleasures of life, there is no good in it. Since you are the mother of a God who loves mankind, have compassion on me, a sinner and a wayward person, and accept my supplication from the lips of the impure. And in exchange for your motherhood, beseech your Son, our Master and Lord, to expand the scope of his mercy for me, to overcome my countless transgressions, to return me to repentance, and to show me as a follower of his commandments. Successful. So always be by my side, O merciful, compassionate and lover of what is good. And since you are a warm advocate and advocate, turn away from me, in my present age, the attacks of my opponents, and guide me to salvation, and at the hour of my death surround my wretched soul, and keep me away from Come against the evil one and the dark one, and on the day of terrible judgment deliver me from eternal punishment and make me an heir of the glory of your Son and our ineffable God, so that I may win. Through you and your support, O Most Holy Mother of God, my Lady, by the grace of your only Son, our Lord, God, and Savior Jesus Christ, and his love for mankind, which is his and my Father’s. To Him, the Eternal One, and to His Holy and Righteous Spirit, the Creator of life, be glory, honor, and prostration, now, and at every time, and to the ages of ages.

The people: Amen.

Calm the turmoil of passions, extinguish the evil one’s flaming arrows cunningly thrown at us, calm the revolts of our flesh, and quench within us every material, earthly desire. Oh God, grant us an alert mind, a sober thought, a sober heart, and a light sleep, free from satanic fantasies. Arise us in the time of prayer, steadfast in Your commandments, and always remembering within ourselves Your judgments. Grant that we may praise You all night long, so that we may praise, bless, and glorify Your most honorable and majestic name, O Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, now, and at all times, and to the ages of ages.
